Why your team sucks: The Jaguars

Oh my word, this season as a Jaguars fan has been painful. During the off-season the Jaguars looked like they could be a force to be reckoned with. They acquired Malik Jackson, Chris Ivory, Kelvin Beachum, Tashaun Gipson, Prince Amukamara, Mackenzy Bernadeau and Brad Nortman in free agency. They drafted Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack, and Yannick Ngakoue in the 2016 NFL Draft. They also had several young players have breakout years including Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns and Davon House. Many experts projected the Jaguars to be a possible playoff contender this year. But sadly things started to go wrong even before the year started.

For starters the team decided to promote Todd Walsh to defensive coordinator instead of finding a experienced coordinator such as Jim Schwartz or Mike Smith. Next was the offensive line play, right tackle Jermey Parnell was getting thrown around by Dante Fowler all of training camp, and free agent Mackenzy Bernadeau who we gave a two year, four million dollar deal to at least bring interior line depth was so freaking bad he got cut. Next was the fact they cut the wrong players, Tyrone Holmes (who is a bright spot for the Browns), Ryan Davis, and Josh Evans were all cut. Now granted Josh Evans wasn't a good player but he at least was better then Peyton Thompson and Jarrod Wilson.

Then the season started, the Jaguars played fairly well against the Packers, barley losing. Then came San Diego. Oh my lord, that was embarrassing, we were down 28-0 as I was listening to the game and then I had that gut feeling "Here we go again" sensation. Everything has not turned out the way we hoped.

- Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns and Davon House all regressed. House has regressed so badly he is now on the bench.

- Chris Ivory hasn't played well other then the big run against Oakland and Malik Jackson has more unsportsmanlike penalties then sacks

- Kevlin Beachum, Tashaun Gipson, Brad Nortman and especially Prince Amukamara have all played pretty well, but they haven't had the impact that many were hoping.

- Jalen Ramsey has been great, but has more penalties then big defensive plays. Myles Jack and Yannick Ngakoue (who is a freaking beast) need to have more playing time.

During that San Diego game, there was one instance were Paul Posluszny, a middle linebacker was covering wide receiver Travis Benjamin. Then it all made sense. It's not player's fault (well except Malik Jackson who can control himself), it's not David Caldwell's (the General Manager) fault. It's been all the fault of one man: Gus Bradley. Until he is let go, the Jaguar's undisciplined, inconsistent and at times embarrassing play will never stop. The fanbase has waited too long for these results. We have given Gus Bradley four years and the most wins that came out in a single year in his tenure was five. FIVE FREAKING WINS. Other teams with less talent have faired better then the Jaguars. Hell, the freaking Titans are playing better!

We have talent, that's not a issue. But until Gus Bradley is fired, the Jaguars will continue to suck.
