Walter has underated both the giants and falcons all year and I disagree.The Giants D almost proved my case but an absent receiving core and punter rendered my last rant irrelevant and walt looked good though he likely wondered after most of the 1st half was ending - oh well - good job walter- that's why we are here !

In this case the falcons have played at least 10 of the upper tier ( top half) offenses during the year and the D is underated as a result. The falcs have played with large leads often and as a result their young D numbers have not looked impressive utilizing the awfull prevent on many occasions.Granted- the pack moved the ball easily early in their last game but Rodgers was rushed and stifled like he has rarely been in his career.  

The falcons whose yards and points allowed are very high have battled the likes of rodgers twice - D Carr - Brees twice - Cam ( off year but) twice- Rivers - KC - Ariz -Philly at home and obviously Seattle though wounded.

The pats on the other hand also battled a wounded seattle club as well as arizona but that's it ! Buffalo twice while technically upper tier but really ? Pittsburg once with ben in their last game was the best offense they saw and so I think the pats top ranked scoring D is highly Overated !

I just heard francessa on the fan pick the pats - boomer - Brandon marshal and everyone seems sure that brady and bill can't lose due to experience etc. Going against that duo may be difficult as always but I'm betting that the lowest scoring defense is a bit fraudulent - B and B are hard to go against in the big game and I was lucky ( thanks Pete!) enough to have them vs. Seattle last time but they will lose this game by 3 at least and possibly more depending on how much pressure they can get on brady.

PS  I did notice that Phil Simms picked the Falcs But his kid is their backup QB and walt is showing nearly70% of the $ on the pats - so it seems likely that the books hit on the Big game as they have taken big hits this year as walt has illustrated !

Let's go Atlanta - Offense is  Way too fast - D is underated - hoping for a good game though I wouldn't be surprised if the falcs pull away and it's brady needing a couple of scores as the clock runs out.

It's easy to say now but I am actually 9-1 in the playoffs after having a fifty fifty type year !
