In my fantasy world, where I have John Dorsey's new job...
fire Hue Jackson, hire Mike Vrabel. I do think that Hue's got a raw deal... but I have not been impressed with him, either.
2018 FA
1. Kirk Cousins... back up the Brink's truck. Whatever it takes- beggars can't be choosers. Overpay.
2. Allen Robinson... Josh Gordon is gravy. Even if he's clean, he's not the sharpest thing going... but he's so talented you keep him. Robinson makes you okay without Gordon, and fantastic with him.
3. Malcolm Butler... again, overpay a bit... but that's ok. Gotta pay to get talent to CLE.
2018 Draft
1 (1) Bradley Chubb, DE. I like Ogbah... but if you have a chance to be special you take it. This helps Garrett reducing double teams, makes for an identity.
1 (5) Minkah Fitzpatrick FS. I think he'll be perennial all-pro in a few years. This also benefits Jabrill Peppers greatly, putting him back to SS.
2 (33) Derrius Guice, RB. I think he'll be fantastic in the pros.
2 (38) Orlando Brown, RT. Upgrade from Shon Coleman, complete our OL assuming Joe Thomas comes back healthy.
2 (62) Maurice Hurst, DT. We have some good run defenders, we need an interior penetrator.
