I believe from a football standpoint the Cowboys need to consider bringing back Greg Hardy. I think he's a scumbag and what he did was unacceptable and disgusting, however this team believes in second chances but will they do it a third time?  Jason Garrett obviously doesn't like Hardy and the team has been basically distancing itself from the player but they're running out of options.  This team needs to find pass rush help and there is almost none left in free agency that can do it at an above average level all game.  I don't like when people tell me that they can always draft one because 1. Bosa isn't an elite pass rusher he's a good all around DE and 2. it's very rare for a rookie DE to come in and be an immediate presence.

I really really want Demarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory to be the DE's of the future but Gregory is proving that he cares more about other things than the game of football and until he cleans himself up and taps into his full potential, the Cowboys are going to have to find someone else at the position.  From a football standpoint Greg Hardy is one of the best DE's in football.  He can straight up get after the quarterback with 22 sacks in his last 27 games.  If the Cowboys miss on Jalen Ramsey in the draft they are gonna need all the pass rush they can get to keep the DBs from covering for too long.

With that said I do think there is another 2 options I like but it looks just as likely that they will happen as much as them bringing Hardy back.  They can sign Junior Galette, or try to since the Redskins basically have him on a RFA type deal, and I know he has his issues too and comes with his baggage as well but he's also a proven pass rusher.  The other option would be to sign Chris Long and 1-2 other quality rotational players like Jason Jones and Vinny Curry to name a few.

I just think time is running out and they need to make a move.  Trades are an option and there are bound to be players cut in training camp and by June 1st so we'll see...only time will tell.
