Will Campbell makes sense at 1.04 as things currently stand, but NE/Campbell just feels like such a reach. There's much debate as to whether he'll be able to stick at LT in the NFL.
I gotta think NE will use some of that ample cap space to sign a FA LT like Alaric Jackson so they're not in a position to have to reach on draft day. If so - and assuming Carter and Hunter are off the board at 1.04 - things could get weird.
Could the Pats - who are rumored to love Carter - see Jalon Walker (similar skill set to Carter) as a fall-back option? Walker is #3 on Brugler's big board and #6 on Jeremiah's board. I'm surprised Walker is so rarely talked about as an option for NE.
My darkhorse at 1.04: Ashton Jeanty. Pound-for-pound the best prospect in the draft and would immediately give the offense an identity that's right up Vrabel's alley.
