Wow, Sanders in the 2nd!  While I don't personally disagree, I find it hard to believe he will last that long.

@jrkloster

For this mock draft there were no trades so I had trouble finding a landing spot for Sanders. If there had been trades I absolutely would have had the Browns trading back up into the 1st for him.

That being said, I am incredibly low on Sanders as a prospect and would not personally spend a 1st on him.

Golden to DET is interesting. Jamo trade?

About time we see a mock that has the marbles to match NE/Jeanty.

@Mr. Bitter

For the Lions, I think they have a complete enough roster to afford a luxury pick. Outside of Amon-Ra and Jameson I do not see a true difference maker at receiver. With Jameson's issues staying on the field, and a looming contract decision, I think it is best for them to have a high quality contingency option in place.

For the Patriots, it simply comes down to putting the best pieces around Maye. The positional value is not there, but the value Jeanty would bring in developing a strong run game for Maye would be completely worth it.

@joshmango99

Agree 100% on NE/Jeanty.

Golden would be a great value at 1.28. I'm guessing he's off the board by then, but I see your logic.

EDGE is still a need position for DET, IMO. Davenport is completely unreliable and Paschal is a run-stopper with no pass-rush juice. The severity of Hutchinson's injury must also be taken into account. 1.28 could be a sweet spot for EDGE value with Mike Green and James Pearce possibilities to slide due to character concerns. Ezeiruaku could be there, too.
