100% agree with the niners take. I'd take the bull DT in R1 and an athletic 4-3 edge rusher on Day 2. As good as this edge class is, it's 3-4 talent at the top for me.
I see some expert mocks that have the Niners taking a CB at 1.11. Baffling. They plainly have no idea how SF operates. A deep, talented D-line constantly fortified with premium investments has been the foundation of SF's success. There's no way on earth they don't address the D-line early and often in this draft. Remove Bosa, and that's a practice squad group.
I'm very intrigued by the idea of what Shemar Stewart could become under the tutelage of Kris Kocurek, but the 2nd RD is this draft's sweet spot for quality 4-3 base ends. Nobody like Kenneth Grant will be found in the 2nd RD.
