I'm liking MIA/McCoy more and more every day. Desperate need...the RAS aspect...it all makes sense. Assuming Fano is off the board, it feels like a layup. (There's talk that CLE may like Fano as a LT at 1.06.)
Excellent, waterproof mock as usual. Out of curiosity, do you think there are any prime trade spots in the top 10? I'm thinking CLE at 1.06. If Sonny Styles falls out of the top-5, I could see DAL moving up for him. I also think TB wants to come out of this draft with an elite EDGE. Could be a trade for Maxx Crosby, a trade up for Bailey or Bain...who knows. All I know is that my mocks always have TB landing Mesidor or Faulk, and neither feel right. Bowles is on the hot seat and the Bucs are in danger of losing NFC South dominance to CAR unless they make a bold move for a difference-making EDGE opposite Diaby.
@Mr. Bitter I view Arizona, Cleveland, and Washington as the 3 most likely teams looking to trade down in the top 10. Regarding Arizona, we've seen Ossenfort do it before, and they have holes to fill on the OL and certainly on defense. And if it happens to be Bailey sitting there at #3, edge rusher is actually not a tremendous need for them. They could try to move down and pick Mauigoa or Fano imo. As for Cleveland, they also have proven to play the board, and in what looks like a total rebuild (although the defense is competitive), maybe they just try to pile up the picks. Tate doesn't profile as the typical top 10 WR (4.50+ 40 time) and that feels rich for Freeling as well. Lastly, Washington is a pretty simple one, as they are currently without 2nd and 4th Round picks. I think they'd pick Love in a second if he slips, but apart from that, there's a ton of logic to them trading down.
Teams that I could see trading into the top 7 include the Saints (Loomis has been aggressive before, maybe they have Bailey considerably higher than Bain), Chiefs (armed with 9/29, could be looking at edge or OL), Cowboys (armed with 12/20 but without a 2nd rounder, could be looking at Reese/Bailey/Styles), Rams (Super Bowl or bust, perhaps Tate?), Ravens (the failed Crosby deal shows they were willing to put picks on the table, could see them looking at OL or edge), and Bucs (you mentioned the need for an edge and I've mocked them Malachi Lawrence in a trade down).
