the jets had the best draft with bailey, sadiq, and cooper. only one direction that the jets can go from here and that is up.

strange fact --rory mcilroy has won 2 masters since the last time the jets got an interception.

am thinking that KC conception will be a candidate for rookie of the year. he runs like he is shot out of a cannon, and the browns QB shedeur can put the ball right on him. he will be a primary target with lots of chances to make a play. 80 catches might happen.

I was just hoping Lane Johnson would simply play into his 50s but I guess a succession plan there would be a good idea.

here are a few players who will be an NFL bust.

1 peter woods DT clemson  very overrated

2 carsen beck miami--he just does not have it

3 T J parker clemson another overrated clemson lineman

4 emmett johnson RB nebraska not much athletiic ability and slow

@petermwb My #1 candidate for bust:  Proctor.  Fighting Weight issues + can't handle speed rushers = bust.  And some chuds are saying Cleveland will take him #6!  Even they are that dumb.

"Garrett is in his 30s..."

Literally just turned 30.  Talk about making it as negative as possible.  Zion Young is no Garrett.  LOL

Terrell ran in the 4.6's.  He is not going in the 1st Round, ESPECIALLY not to the Dolphins, who are likely to prioritize RAS since their new GM comes from the Packers.  They could be looking at guys like Hood and Chris Johnson if available, however.

Proctor will not be drafted in the first round.  Any player, regardless of talent that doesn’t take care of his body, isn’t worth the risk.

@RDGS  what does proctor weigh, about 360--too much lard for an NFL player.

zach branch the speedy Wr from georgia, was just arrested in georgia at 1:26 am for being a dumb shit. that will drop his draft stock a few rounds. cost him big money for being dumb.

I think I am giving up on this site.  You consistently have the Niners picking a CB in the 1st 2 rounds for I don't know how long.  Their CBs are fine and they don't put a premium on the position.  Their philosophy has always been, put pressure with the DL and the CB looks better.  Any CBs would look terrible last year with the DL they had.  You have them drafting a DL/DT in the 1st round when they drafted 2 last year and already traded for one this offseason, not a position of need at this point.  They glaring holes at Edge, OL and need youth at WR.  They may draft a CB/Safety in round 4, but not before that.  Unless a top 10 talent that is not an Edge, OT or WR is there at #27, they will select one of those 3 positions.  You don't have them addressing any of their glaring needs with their 1st two picks.

Why would the Browns draft a QB?  They have the un-cuttable albatross that is Watson and 2 developmental QBs on the roster already.  And a Day 3 QB would be more of the same.

Lions will take Sadiq, if available as insurance due to LaPorta’s back injury.  Watch.

looks like the vikings are going to trade up with cleveland so they can get their hands on jeremiyah love, the best player in the draft. the vikings get love with pick #6, the browns get a 2nd round pick, and a 4th round pick. with the extra 2nd round pick the browns take keionte scott the CB from miami who is an sbsolute stud.

This has got to be the worst Dolphins mock I've seen yet. Good pick at 11. After that taking another Safety, 2 more CBs, 2 Small WRs, a small hybrid DE and one OL in the first 8 picks is ridiculous. Downs yes after that, CBs with size, WRs with size would be more acceptable. Finally he mentioned trench right after QB, he has his QB so beyond Downs at 11, early trench, late big WRS and CBs make more sense. This is GB south

Don't be surprised if the Cowboys drafts are wide receiver in the 1st round

@Mr. Football

So which team is Pickens getting traded to?

Mr. Bitter • 691 Posts (361 ) • 1 month(s) 0 day(s) ago - hide
Drew Shelton in the 1st round is ridiculous.

K.C. Concepcion is listed here to pick 31 with a misspelled name but also with the correct spelling as a Safety on Charlie's mock. Clean up on aisle 5?

If Cleveland drafts a DE with #6 we riot.  They resigned Smith, drafted Graham #5 last year and have the best DE in the NFL.  No need to invest yet more in the dline.  Especially with the WR room being bottom 5 and the oline, while imporved via FA, still needs an infusion of young talent.

Sorry Walter, but you are still wrong on the Browns. If they dont trade down a few spots, they will take Carnell Tate with #6. We have a room full of undersized WR’s and dont need another one. Freeling will hopefully be there at #24. If not, then one of the other top linemen will go.
Osmodiar • 32 Posts (6 ) • 1 month(s) 27 day(s) ago - hide
@Barnowl1952 Browns are taking O-line, LT at no.6 -- the current O-line is a travesty.
The Champ • 150 Posts (32 ) • 1 month(s) 19 day(s) ago - hide
@Barnowl1952 It's become pretty clear that there's no chance that Freeling will be there at #24.  He just has too much upside and unlike a lot of these guys (Fano, Mauigoa, Ioane), he projects as a pure LT.
Barnowl1952 • 13 Posts (4 ) • 1 month(s) 17 day(s) ago - hide
@Osmodiar To Osmodiar and the Champ, yes i agree with you after what the browns have done recently. LT will be the priority at #6 now. And i still dont think they are taking a small WR anytime soon. At least i hope not. ??
Coherent37 • 1 Posts (2 ) • 1 month(s) 22 day(s) ago - hide
Fano has shorter arms, and is open to a position change. I think he falls into the teens at the least, but he's looking more like a guard, and definitely not a LT. 3 is rich.
The Champ • 150 Posts (32 ) • 1 month(s) 22 day(s) ago - hide

@Coherent37 Yeah I had him going 5th to the Giants for a while but now I've dropped him to Miami at 11.  I think Miami would pick him over even Mauigoa, the local product, and my reasoning is that the Packers value versatile OL's.  And while Mauigoa may not be a RT and a G instead, Fano can apparently play all 5 positions.  Almost sounds like Elgton Jenkins.  Of course, new Miami GM Jon-Eric Sullivan comes from the Packer front office.

As neither Fano nor Mauigoa are LT's, I actually think Monroe Freeling has a good chance to be the first OL chosen.

@The Champ

This draft is giving me 2018 vibes when it comes to the O-linemen. If you project Mauigoa strictly as a guard, he's a clean, plug-n-play bulldozer with All-Pro upside, much like Quenton Nelson in '18, when he was the first O-lineman off the board at 1.6. Freeling is like Kolton Miller, the late-rising LT specimen drafted at 1.15.

I could see the Browns taking Mauigoa at 1.6 as the foundational piece for the O-line rebuild (even if he's just a guard), then Freeling popping off from 1.10 to 1.13.

The Champ • 150 Posts (32 ) • 1 month(s) 19 day(s) ago - hide
@Mr. Bitter Sure, they could do that.  However, Andrew Berry is an analytics guy.  I'm not sure he takes someone that, in your theory, would be plugged into a guard spot at #6 overall.  I think they are more likely to take someone that they like at LT, and to me that would be Freeling in this draft among the realistic contenders for the pick.  If they think that's way too rich, perhaps a small trade down?  Maybe Kansas City just has to have Love, for example, to jump Washington and New Orleans.
