Kansas City Chiefs: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
No one should be surprised if Sam Montgomery falls to the fourth or fifth round. His comments about quitting and betting on football have drawn some serious red flags. However, he's the best player available and fills a big need for Kansas City.
The Chiefs need pass-rushing depth, and Montgomery fits the scheme well. Plus, Andy Reid has a history of giving chances to players with character issues.

Pick change; previously Landry Jones, QB
-
Jacksonville Jaguars: Kyle Juszczyk, FB, Harvard
Maurice Jones-Drew made it known how upset he was when the Texans signed Greg Jones. Hopefully Jacksonville brings in another fullback to appease MJD.
Pick change; previously Hugh Thornton, G
-
Philadelphia Eagles: Brandon McGee, CB, Miami
It wouldn't surprise me to see the Eagles add a corner in Rounds 3-5 despite signing Bradley Fletcher and Cary Williams. Neither is a No. 1 corner, so Philadelphia may want someone who can develop into one.
-
Detroit Lions: William Gholston, DE/DT, Michigan State
With both Kyle Vanden Bosch and Cliff Avril gone, the Lions may double up on defensive ends.
Pick change; previously Michael Williams, TE
-
Seattle Seahawks: Everett Dawkins, DT, Florida State
Seattle's greatest priority going into this offseason was finding more pass-rushers. They added Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril, but they could still use an interior presence.
-
Cleveland Browns: Kenny Stills, WR, Oklahoma
Josh Gordon improved as the 2012 season went along, but the Browns need another receiver to go along with the inconsistent Greg Little.
Pick change; previously Oday Aboushi, G/OT
-
Arizona Cardinals: Hugh Thornton, G, Illinois
The Cardinals need more than one offensive line upgrade to make sure that the immobile Carson Palmer gets a chance to find Larry Fitzgerald downfield.
Pick change; previously Mike Gillislee, RB
-
New York Jets: Zac Dysert, QB, Miami of Ohio
The Jets have to draft a quarterback at some point, and it looks like it's going to be Zac Dysert. New York has shown a ridiculous amount of interest in him.
Pick change; previously John Simon, DE/OLB
-
Tennessee Titans: Zac Stacy, RB, Vanderbilt
Tennessee may spend a late-round pick on a running back. Someone to challenge Shonn Greene for the No. 2 job wouldn't hurt.
Pick change; previously Jordan Mills, OT
-
Buffalo Bills: Lavar Edwards, DE, LSU
The Bills spent tons of money on Mario Williams and Mark Anderson last offseason, but while the former picked up his play after the bye, the latter was dreadful whenever he was on the field. Buffalo needs to put as much pressure on the quarterback if it wants to unseat the Patriots in the division.
Pick change; previously B.W. Webb, CB
-
New Orleans Saints: T.J. McDonald, S, USC
The Saints get a steal here with T.J. McDonald, who will be able to challenge for one of the starting safety jobs.
-
San Diego Chargers: Marc Anthony, CB, California
Quentin Jammer and Antoine Cason are no longer on the roster. The Chargers signed Derek Cox, but they need another corner.
Pick change; previously Leon McFadden, CB
-
Miami Dolphins: A.J. Klein, ILB, Iowa State
Something the Dolphins must do this offseason is find some linebacker depth because they're awfully thin there. They signed two expensive linebackers, but they also cut two in the process.
-
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kevin Reddick, ILB, North Carolina
In addition to fixing their defensive line and cornerback corps, the Buccaneers have to do something about their linebacking situation. They should look into drafting a middle linebacker and moving Mason Foster outside.
Pick change; previously Chris Harper, WR
-
Carolina Panthers: Akeem Spence, DT, Illinois
Though they have limited picks, it wouldn't surprise me if the Panthers doubled up on defensive tackles because that area is so incredibly weak.
Pick change; previously Terry Hawthorne, CB
-
St. Louis Rams: Oday Aboushi, G/OT, Virginia
The Rams will probably want to draft more than one offensive lineman just in case they end up trading Rodger Saffold.
Pick change; previously Mike Catapano, DE
-
Pittsburgh Steelers: Josh Boyce, WR, TCU
Here is some much-needed help for Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers need a new wideout after losing Mike Wallace.
Pick change; previously Jawan Jamison, RB
-
Dallas Cowboys: Jordan Hill, DT, Penn State
Here's some more defensive line help for the Cowboys, as they transition into their new 4-3 scheme.
Pick change; previously Tavarres King, WR
-
New York Giants: Mike Catapano, DE, Princeton
I've had the Giants picking Bjoern Werner at No. 19 for a while. If they pass on him, they may draft someone like Mike Catapno in the middle rounds.
Pick change; previously Tavarres King, WR
-
Chicago Bears: Reid Fragel, OT, Ohio State
Here's another offensive lineman for the Bears. They clearly aren't too pleased with J'Marcus Webb, so they may want to bring in some competition for him.
-
Washington Redskins: Cobi Hamilton, WR, Arkansas
The Redskins have to fix their secondary, but something else they should do is find some help at receiver. I think they'll do that if they get good value.
Pick change; previously Devin Taylor, DE
-
Minnesota Vikings: Alvin Bailey, G, Arkansas
It's possible the Vikings could double dip at guard because Charlie Johnson and Brandon Fusco were so pedestrian in 2012. That makes it so much more amazing that Adrian Peterson nearly broke the rushing record.
Pick change; previously Josh Evans, S
-
Cincinnati Bengals: Chase Thomas, DE/OLB, Stanford
The Bengals need some competition at strongside linebacker in the wake of losing Manny Lawson to the Bills.
-
San Francisco 49ers: Walter Stewart, DE/OLB, Cincinnati
The 49ers are all about drafting high-upside players and redshirting them until they're ready to play. They could do that with Walter Stewart, who would be a second-round prospect if it weren't for his injury concerns.
-
Seattle Seahawks: Demetrius McCray, CB, Appalachian State
The Seahawks haven't drafted a cornerback yet, so here's one. Demetrius McCray is the type of tall, long corner Pete Carroll loves to have on his defense.
-
Green Bay Packers: Joseph Randle, RB, Oklahoma State
James Starks has yet to prove that he can stay healthy, while Alex Green has shown nothing in several starts. Cedric Benson is obviously not a long-term answer, though I've been impressed with DuJuan Harris in his limited action. Still, the Packers are expected to address the running back position at some point in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Pick change; previously Stansly Maponga, DE/OLB
-
Houston Texans: Vince Williams, ILB, Florida State
The Texans will be looking for multiple inside linebackers in the draft because they have no depth there.
Pick change; previously Michael Mauti, ILB
-
Denver Broncos: Devonte Holloman, OLB, South Carolina
The Broncos don't have the greatest depth at linebacker, so a late-round pick could be used to bolster this area.
Pick change; previously Shawn Williams, S
-
Washington Redskins: Rod Sweeting, CB, Georgia Tech
With so many cornerbacks heading for free agency next spring, the Redskins may double up on the position.
Pick change; previously Trevardo Williams, DE/OLB
-
Atlanta Falcons: Stansly Maponga, DE/OLB, TCU
The Falcons could double up on defensive ends in the first few rounds. They don't really know what they're going to get out of Osi Umenyiora. If Umenyiora struggles like he did in 2012, two new ends will be needed.
Pick change; previously Akeem Spence, DT
-
Cleveland Browns: Brian Winters, G, Kent State
If the Browns trade down from No. 6, they may target Chance Warmack or Jonathan Cooper because they have a big hole at left guard. If they don't land either, they'll have to address that need later on.
Pick change; previously Nick Kasa, TE
-
Baltimore Ravens: Nico Johnson, ILB, Alabama
The Ravens lost Ray Lewis to retirement and Dannell Ellerbe to the Dolphins this offseason. They're obviously desperate for inside linebacker help.
Pick change; previously Michael Williams, TE
-
Miami Dolphins: Dion Sims, TE, Michigan State
The Dolphins want to draft a tight end early in an ideal world, but that wasn't possible in this mock. Using a mid-rounder on someone like Dion Sims is an alternative.
Pick change; previously Brandon Jenkins, DE/OLB
-
Green Bay Packers: Brandon Jenkins, DE/OLB, Florida State
Before Erik Walden left, I wrote that the Packers need to make sure Walden wouldn't be on the field next year. It's strange that the Colts paid him so much money.
Pick change; previously Brian Winters, G
-
Baltimore Ravens: Kwame Geathers, NT, Georgia
The Ravens signed Chris Canty and Marcus Spears, but both are 30-plus. Considering that, as well as Arthur Jones' impending free agency next spring, Ozzie Newsome may want to draft a defensive lineman in the middle rounds.
