*** This 2014 NFL Mock Draft (4 rounds) was updated Feb. 19. This mock draft will be updated at least once per week (Tuesday afternoons and other times for important events.). 1. Houston Texans: Brandon Thomas, G/OT, Clemson
Wade Smith, now 33, is past his prime and no longer effective. He was a liability this past season.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

  2. Washington Redskins: Jordan Zumwalt, LB, UCLA
ESPN loves talking up London Fletcher by saying he's still great, but he could barely move. He was one of the reasons the Redskins were so inept on defense. He has announced his retirement anyway.

  3. Atlanta Falcons: Daniel McCullers, NT, Tennessee
The Falcons have three defensive tackles with expiring contracts, including Corey Peters, a run-stuffer who tore his Achilles in December. A replacement is needed.

  4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jared Abbrederis, WR, Wisconsin
Mike Glennon's options are rather limited once you get beyond Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams. The Buccaneers will be searching for a new No. 3 receiver this offseason.

  5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Keith McGill, CB, Utah
The Jaguars definitely need some help at corner to help combat Andrew Luck.

  6. Cleveland Browns: Ahmad Dixon, S, Baylor
Here's some secondary help for the Browns, who could use someone to challenge Tashaun Gipson at safety.

Pick change; previously Terrence Brooks, S

  7. Oakland Raiders: Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor
The Raiders will need a running back if they lose either Darren McFadden or Rashad Jennings in free agency this spring.

Pick change; previously Cyril Richardson, G/OT

  8. Minnesota Vikings: Kelcy Quarles, DT, South Carolina
The Vikings used one of three first-rounders on a defensive tackle last year, but they may have to double dip at the position with Kevin Williams hitting free agency.

  9. Buffalo Bills: Trevor Reilly, DE/OLB, Utah
Jerry Hughes' great 2013 campaign came out of nowhere. The Bills should probably obtain some insurance just in case it was a fluke. They could use depth at linebacker anyway.

  10. St. Louis Rams: Joel Bitonio, OT/G, Nevada
The Rams probably won't go offensive tackle early, but they'll have to at some point considering the uncertainty surrounding Jake Long.

Pick change; previously Billy Turner, OT

  11. Detroit Lions: Rob Herron, WR, Wyoming
The Lions could very easily double dip at receiver in the 2014 NFL Draft to help turn depth at this position into a strength.

  12. Tennessee Titans: Charles Sims, RB, West Virginia
There have been reports indicating that Chris Johnson will be cut this offseason. If that's the case, Tennessee will obviously be searching for a new lead running back.

Pick change; previously Lache Seastrunk, RB

  13. New York Giants: Richard Rodgers, TE, California
The Giants signed Brandon Myers to serve as a dependable intermediate target for Eli Manning, but he failed. Perhaps they'll draft someone instead.

  14. Jacksonville Jaguars: Brent Urban, DE/DT Virginia
Surprise, surprise, Tyson Alualu struggled at left end in Jacksonville's new scheme. An upgrade here is needed for the league's worst pass rush.

  15. New York Jets: Pierre Desir, CB, Lindenwood
Here's more help for the secondary. Antonio Cromartie will be a cap casualty this offseason.

Pick change; previously E.J. Gaines, CB

  16. Miami Dolphins: Calvin Barnett, DT, Oklahoma State
Both Randy Starks and Paul Soliai happen to be impending free agents. The Dolphins will need to re-sign either Starks or Soliai and acquire one more interior lineman for depth.

  17. Chicago Bears: Kareem Martin, DE, North Carolina
Shea McClellin will be moving to strongside linebacker. Julius Peppers won't be around much longer. The Bears need a long-term solution at defensive end.

Pick change; previously Charles Sims, RB

  18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Deandre Coleman, DE/DT, California
The Steelers need some help up front. Cameron Heyward finally improved this year, but Ziggy Hood continued to struggle.

  19. Dallas Cowboys: Dakota Dozier, G, Furman
The Cowboys have a pretty weak collection of guards, so they could look to bring in someone at the position.

Pick change; previously Demarcus Lawrence, DE/OLB

  20. Arizona Cardinals: Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU
Rashard Mendenhall is a free agent, but that's for the best because he stinks. The Cardinals have to find someone to split carries with Andre Ellington.

  21. Green Bay Packers: Tre Boston, S, North Carolina
Is there any doubt that the Packers need to improve their secondary? Their defensive backfield blew so many coverages throughout the season, and they had no chance against Colin Kaepernick.

  22. Philadelphia Eagles: Terrance Mitchell, CB, Oregon
Cary Williams hasn't been very good and will probably be released next offseason (he's due $6.5 million in 2015), while Bradley Fletcher can't be counted on to start 16 games in a season.

  23. Cincinnati Bengals: Will Sutton, DT, Arizona State
The Bengals need insurance at defensive end. Geno Atkins is coming off a torn ACL, while Domata Peko is entering his contract year.

  24. Kansas City Chiefs: Morgan Breslin, DE/OLB, USC
The Chiefs found out the hard way this past season that they have very little behind Tamba Hali and Justin Houston.

  25. San Diego Chargers: Michael Sam, DE/OLB, Missouri
I think this is a good spot for Michael Sam. The Chargers took a chance on another linebacker who was a "distraction" last year, and Manti Te'o didn't exactly ruin things. San Diego is a relatively small market, so that helps.

Besides, Sam fills a need. The Chargers need pass-rushers, so they could double dip at the position.

Go here for more on Michael Sam's draft stock.

  26. New Orleans Saints: Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers
The Saints could use another receiver. Marques Colston disappointed this season prior to the Carolina victory, yet he's still New Orleans' top option by a wide margin.

Pick change; previously Adrian Hubbard, DE/OLB

  27. Cleveland Browns: Khairi Fortt, ILB, California
The Browns have a great front seven, but the one liability in the group is Craig Robertson, who was abused in coverage this past season.

  28. Carolina Panthers: E.J. Gaines, CB, Missouri
The Panthers have some cornerbacks hitting free agency, including Captain Munnerlyn, so they'll need help at the position.

Pick change; previously Chris Smith, DE

  29. San Francisco 49ers: Chris Smith, DE/OLB, Arkansas
The 49ers may want some pass-rushing insurance just in case Aldon Smith gets into trouble again.

Pick change; previously Victor Hampton, CB

  30. New England Patriots: Ross Cockrell, CB, Duke
The Patriots will need depth at cornerback behind Alfonzo Dennard and Logan Ryan if free agent Aqib Talib walks.

  31. Denver Broncos: Mike Davis, WR, Texas
Eric Decker, coming off a great season, is set to hit free agency (go here to check out my 2014 NFL Free Agent Rankings). He could be too rich for Denver's blood considering all of the money the front office will have dedicated to Wes Welker, Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas.

  32. Seattle Seahawks: Billy Turner, OT, North Dakota State
It doesn't sound like the Seahawks will be retaining right tackle Breno Giacomini, so here's a potential replacement.

Pick change; previously Anthony Steen, G
