The order of this 2014 NFL Mock Draft is based on my NFL Power Rankings.

*** THIS IS A LIVE 2014 NFL MOCK DRAFT. PICKS ARE BEING POSTED NOW. TO SEE PREVIOUS VERSIONS, CHECK OUT THE ARCHIVED 2014 NFL MOCK DRAFT SECTION. FOLLOW @walterfootball FOR UPDATES ***

  1. Tennessee Titans: Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama
The Titans are fine at offensive tackle right now, but Michael Roos and David Stewart will be free agents in 2015 and 2014, respectively (the latter has a voidable year after this upcoming season). They'll need to retool at the position if they don't re-sign either of the two.

Pick change; previously Cyrus Kouandjio, OT

  2. Arizona Cardinals: Khalil Mack, DE/OLB, Buffalo
Khalil Mack made the biggest jump in a recent mock draft. Mack completely dominated the Ohio State offensive line. The Buckeyes simply couldn't do anything about him. Mack is now in the conversation to be a top-15 pick. He'd fill a need across from Sam Acho in Arizona.

  3. New York Jets: Kyle Van Noy, DE/OLB, BYU
New York will go with the top player on its board, and that could be Kyle Van Noy. The Jets have a nice interior pass rush with Sheldon Richardson and Muhammad Wilkerson. Drafting Van Noy would give them a great bookend on the exterior with Quinton Coples. New York's pass rush could be the league's best.

Pick change; previously Anthony Barr, DE/OLB

  4. Miami Dolphins: James Hurst, OT, North Carolina
Jonathan Martin is good at opening up running lanes, but is terrible as a blind-side pass protector. The Dolphins need to find a legitimate franchise left tackle because Ryan Tannehill has taken a ridiculous 24 sacks through five games. That's the most in the NFL by a wide margin.

  5. Dallas Cowboys: Ra'shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota
I have no idea what the Cowboys were thinking when they passed on Sharrif Floyd at No. 18 overall. Moving down and then selecting a third-round center made it clearer than ever that they need a real general manager. In the meantime, Jerry Jones will continue to run the team into the ground.

Perhaps Jones will suddenly realize that Dallas has a glaring need on the interior of its defensive front. Ra'shede Hageman would be a nice fit as Monte Kiffin's three-technique - just as Floyd would have been.

Pick change; previously Anthony Johnson, DT

  6. Chicago Bears: Anthony Johnson, DT, LSU
Henry Melton, an impending free agent, just tore his ACL. This could make it easier for the Bears to keep him, but they'll need a replacement if he walks.

Pick change; previously Jason Verrett, CB

  7. Cincinnati Bengals: Marcus Roberson, CB, Florida
Defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer has done a great job of getting the most out of Terence Newman and Pacman Jones, but the Bengals will have to get younger at cornerback sooner or later.

Pick change; previously Scott Crichton, DE

  8. Baltimore Ravens: Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt
It should be quite apparent that the Ravens desperately need help at receiver. Neither Jacoby Jones nor Marlon Brown should be a No. 2 wideout in the NFL. Think Baltimore misses Anquan Boldin?

  9. Detroit Lions: Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma
It might still be early, but Darius Slay and Bullet Bill Bentley have been major disappointments for the Lions thus far. If they continue to struggle, the front office will consider a cornerback in the first round - as long as it satisfies their "BPA" model.

Pick change; previously Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB

  10. San Francisco 49ers: Vic Beasley, DE/OLB, Clemson
The 49ers have to consider spending their first-round pick on a pass-rusher. Aldon Smith, who was just sent to rehab, has a pretty cloudy future. San Francisco needs to protect itself in case Smith can't recover.

Pick change; previously Trent Murphy, DE/OLB

  11. Cleveland Browns: Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor
The Browns apparently plan on courting Ben Tate in free agency, but what if he never hits the market or chooses to sign elsewhere?

Pick change; previously Marcus Roberson, CB

  12. New England Patriots: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon
Aqib Talib is having a great season. However, he's an impending free agent, so he'll command a big contract. The Patriots will have to find a replacement if they can't retain him.

Pick change; previously Aaron Colvin, CB

  13. Seattle Seahawks: Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee
The Seahawks' biggest issue right now is pass protection. They have so many injuries on the offensive line, but that was an area that had to be upgraded even before multiple blockers went down.

Pick change; previously Adrian Hubbard, DE/OLB

  14. Kansas City Chiefs: A.J. Johnson, ILB, Tennessee
I'd have to think Andy Reid would look at his offensive and defensive line before the linebacking corps, but A.J. Johnson is the top prospect available. He'd be a big upgrade over Akeem Jordan.

Pick change; previously Antonio Richardson, OT

  15. New Orleans Saints: Scott Crichton, DE/OLB, Oregon State
The Saints had several holes to fill in the 2013 NFL Draft, so they weren't able to obtain a pass-rusher until the sixth round with Rufus Johnson. They'll probably need to do so earlier next April.

Pick change; previously Kyle Van Noy, DE/OLB

  16. Denver Broncos: Cyril Richardson, G/OT, Baylor
What's better than Peyton Manning and four awesome targets? Peyton Manning and four awesome targets with upgraded protection. Zane Beadles, the weak link on a solid Denver front, is an impending free agent.
