Baltimore Ravens Upcoming 2025 Draft Picks (11)
Grade: A+
Once again, the Ravens land a talented player who inexplicably falls to them. What a surprise. Malaki Starks easily could have gone in the teens, so he’s an outstanding pick. Not only does he provide great value; he also fills a huge need. The Ravens had major problems stopping the pass last year, so they had to move Kyle Hamilton from linebacker to safety. With Starks on the roster, Hamilton can move back to linebacker.
Grade: A+
LOL. Can we just end this draft? The Ravens have won it. Mike Green is a first-round talent. He had off-the-field issues, but at this point, it doesn’t matter. Every pick is a roll of the dice, so why not take a chance on such a high-upside player? If Green stays out of trouble, he could be a devastating edge rusher in the NFL.
Grade: A+
Surprise, surprise, another A+ grade for the Ravens. I had Emery Jones going in the first round once upon a time. I eventually moved him to the second frame, so I love his value in the latter half of the third round. The Ravens needed one more lineman, so Jones potentially fills a need as well.
Grade: C
This is the first Ravens pick that didn’t earn an A+. Teddye Buchanan is a sixth-round prospect, so this is somewhat of a reach. The Ravens needed another linebacker, so at least this selection fits from a needs perspective.
Grade: A
The Ravens are back to making great picks. Carson Vinson has incredible upside. The level of competition is a concern, but the Ravens could mold him into a quality starter.
Grade: A
I may sound like a broken record at this point, but the Ravens hit yet another pick. They obviously had to take care of their secondary, and they did so once again with Bilhal Kone, who could have gone two rounds earlier. Kone is a big cornerback with impressive tackling skills.
Grade: B
No surprise that the Ravens are drafting a kicker to replace Justin Tucker. Tyler Loop is one of the kickers who would have made sense with this pick.
Grade: C
I didn't have LaJohntay Webster being drafted, so I'm a bit surprised to see this for the Ravens. Then again, Baltimore needed receiving depth, so I at least get what the Ravens are doing.
Grade: C
Aeneas Peebles was a borderline draftable prospect. He offered a solid interior presence at Virginia Tech, but he's an undersized tweener who doesn't have a clear role in the NFL.
Grade: A-
Another highly graded Ravens pick. Robert Longerbeam has plenty of upside as a terrific, speedy athlete. He's a project, but this is the end of the sixth round, so it's not like the Ravens are taking a risk.
Grade: A
Another win for the Ravens. Garrett Dillinger could have easily been chosen in the fifth round. He's a versatile lineman with experience at guard and tackle, though I would expect him to stay at guard.
Walt's Mock Selections as of 4/25/2025 -View Current Mock Draft
Round: 1

The Ravens couldn't stop the pass at all last year. Part of the reason for that was a weak pass rush. They could end up with one of the best players available to help them generate more pressure. Mykel Williams has an incredible first step and was terrific down the stretch for Georgia. *** OTHER 2025 NFL DRAFT POSSIBILITIES: *** 1. Kenneth Grant, DT - Likely the floor for Grant. 2. Malaki Starks, S - The Ravens were torched often last year, so they need a new safety. Pick change; previously Malaki Starks, S
Round: 2

There's chatter that Mark Andrews could be traded, so here's a potential replacement. Mason Taylor is an athletic receiving tight end. Pick change; previously Ollie Gordon, RB
Round: 3

The Ravens have a thin receiving corps, so they'll be looking for depth at the position. Elic Ayomanor is a tough receiver with good size. Pick change; previously Jalen Travis, OT
Round: 4

The Ravens need better safety play so they can move Kyle Hamilton back to linebacker. Billy Bowman is a gambler who makes big plays, but allows some big plays as well. Pick change; previously KeAndre Lambert-Smith, WR
Round: 4

The Ravens need a new kicker to replace Justin Tucker. Ryan Fitzgerald was 13-of-13 last year, including 5-of-5 from 50-plus. Pick change; previously Barrett Carter, LB
Round: 5

The Ravens signed Chidobe Awuzie, but they still need a cornerback to help such a problematic position. Go to 2025 NFL Mock Draft by Charlie Campbell Go to 2026 NFL Mock Draft by Walter Cherepinsky
Round: 6

The Ravens re-signed Ronnie Stanley, but they still need depth at tackle. Carson Vinson shined in the agility drills at the combine.
Round: 6

The Ravens could look to add two tight ends with Mark Andrews likely to depart soon.
Round: 6

The Ravens figure to obtain multiple defensive backs, including one or two safeties to help their issues from last year.
Round: 6

Here's more secondary help for the Ravens, who should look into obtaining two safeties.
Round: 7

The Ravens could look to add two receivers because they don't have very good depth at the position.

B Nate Wiggins is a talented player who could have gone earlier than this. He also fills a big need for the Ravens' declining cornerback group. However, my concern is that Wiggins is a bit brittle, so he comes with some risk. I actually thought he might fall as a result, and I'm a bit surprised that he was chosen over Kool-Aid McKinstry.
B Some would call this a steal because there was some speculation that Roger Rosengarten would go in the first round. However, Charlie Campbell reported that Rosengarten would slide, so it's not a surprise to see him here. Still, it's a good pick because the Ravens really needed to find some replacements on the offensive line after losing three blockers to free agency.
A- While Chop Robinson went in the first round, I thought Adisa Isaac could have been chosen in the second frame. He's a good value at this spot as a well-rounded edge player. It makes sense for the Ravens to add someone who can help get pressure on Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow.
A+ The Ravens always seem to get some steals in the draft, and this is another one. Devontez Walker is someone who easily could have been chosen toward the end of Round 2. He fills a need for the Ravens, who don't have much at wideout aside from Zay Flowers.
A+ Another steal for the Ravens. What a shocker! T.J. Tampa could have been selected in the second round without any complaints, yet the Ravens are getting him toward the end of the fourth. And if that wasn't enough, Baltimore is filling a huge need.
B This isn't a major steal like some of Baltimore's other picks, but it's a solid choice. Derrick Henry's not the long-term answer, so Baltimore had to find a potential successor. Rasheen Ali is a tough runner who makes sense in the fifth round.
C The Ravens needed a backup quarterback with Tyler Huntley gone, but I would have rather have seen Michael Pratt. Devin Leary has a history of injuries and accuracy woes.
B Nick Samac makes sense as a seventh-round pick as far as draft range is concerned. He's limited athletically, but could be a solid backup.
B Sanoussi Kane got some buzz late in the pre-draft process, so it's not a surprise to see him drafted. He'll help on special teams, which is more important now in the wake of the new kickoff rules.
2023 NFL Draft Selections and Grades
A+ Wow, we hit our Zay Flowers under props by the slimmest of margins! I love this pick for the Ravens, but did not think Flowers would be available. Flowers is an explosive receiver who will provide an enormous upgrade for a big area of weakness. Lamar Jackson was already smiling because of his new contract, and he has to be even happier.
A This is a great pick from a value perspective. I thought there was a chance Trenton Simpson would be chosen in the second round. Simpson is a highly athletic and quick linebacker with great upside.
B I didn't have Tavius Robinson remotely close to any of my mock draft. While Robinson has good athleticism, he is a tweener and needs to add strength. I figured he'd be a UDFA.
B Baltimore needed cornerback help, so it makes sense that it took a player who fits the range with Kyu Blu Kelly. I had Kelly at No. 167, so the value is fine. Kelly is a tall cornerback with some potential, but he was torched at times last year.
C- I didn't have Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu as a draftable prospect, so the Ravens are now dipping into the UDFA pool. Aumavae-Laulu has plus size and athleticism, but he's far from a finished product. He needs a lot of work to make the roster.

C Grade
This is misleading value. Many will think the Ravens are getting a bargain, but many teams soured on Kyle Hamilton. Not only did he run a 4.7 at his pro day; he didn't really have a natural position, much like Isaiah Simmons from two years ago. Teams didn't know whether or not to put Hamilton at safety or linebacker. We'll have to see what the Ravens do with Hamilton, but he could easily be a bust.
A- Grade - A- Grade
Once upon a time, I had Tyler Linderbaum slotted to the Ravens at No. 14. I thought that was a bit early for him, but I loved the fit. Linderbaum fills a huge need, but thought Baltimore needed to trade down for him. Well, the Ravens did that (sort of), and they got their man. Linderbaum should be an excellent starter for the Ravens over the next decade.
A+ Grade
I don't understand why David Ojabo fell so far. He tore his Achilles, but he'll be 100 percent by 2023. He should have gone late in the first round, and he would've been a top-10 pick had he been completely healthy. This is a terrific value, and it's my favorite pick thus far in the 2022 NFL Draft.
A+ Grade
The Ravens are great at drafting because they let teams in front of them draft crappy players, allowing them to take the best prospects available. This happened yet again, as the Ravens just landed someone who could've landed at the end of the first round without many complaints. Jones is a massive, but athletic nose tackle who will fit in very well in the middle of Baltimore's front.
B+ Grade
It should come at no surprise that the Ravens drafted an absolute mauler to fix their offensive line. Daniel Faaelele is one of the largest human beings on the planet, so the question is if he can move well enough in the NFL. The Ravens believe he can, and if so, he'll fill a big need at right tackle. He's worth the risk in the fourth round.
A- Grade
It turns out that the Ravens still pick players from Alabama after all! I like this selection, as I had Jalyn Armour-Davis slotted a bit earlier than this. He's a tall cornerback who will help with Baltimore's abysmal depth that killed them last year.
A- Grade
The Ravens, as usual, are making a solid value pick. Charlie Kolar is a nice route runner with good hands, and I thought he could've gone a bit earlier than this. He doesn't fill a need, but Baltimore has so many picks.
O'MILLEN GRADE
Rich Eisen says that punters are people. I disagree. They are demonic abominations. Regardless of what they are, they do not belong in the fourth round of any draft, even in one as weak as this class.
C Grade
OK, I get picking one tight end for the value, but two seems a bit ridiculous. It's not like this is a good tight end class. Isaiah Likely has nice upside, but the Ravens now have a log jam at the position.
C+ Grade
I get that the Ravens want to obtain another cornerback, given the big problems they had there last year. Damarion Williams, however, is a bit of an underwhelming prospect, as I had him in the sixth-seventh range.
B Grade
Gregory Junior was very productive at Ouachita, but he'll face much tougher competition in the NFL, obviously. This is the right range to pick him though, so it's a solid pick for a Jaguar team that needed cornerback help.
2021 NFL Draft Selections and Grades
D Grade
I'd suggest asking for Ozzie Newsome to return, but he didn't have better luck drafting receivers in the first round. Regardless, this doesn't seem like a good pick. Rashod Bateman runs routes well and possesses great size, but he has poor hands and likely won't be able to separate from NFL defensive backs. This reminds me of the Patriots selecting N'Keal Harry. He belonged in the second round, just like Bateman.
A Grade
This is the opposite of the Bills' pick of Gregory Rousseau. Jayson Oweh didn't have Gregory Rousseau's collegiate production, but he has way more upside and potential. While Rousseau could just be a solid player, Oweh has the ceiling to be a perennial Pro Bowler. He could have easily gone much earlier than this, and he'll fill a huge need for a Baltimore team that lost multiple edge rushers this offseason.
B- Grade
This is a wild draft, with the Packers picking an A. Rodgers receiver right before trading A. Rodgers, and now Baltimore picking Cleveland. Ben Cleveland is a tough blocker who might be able to fill a huge need created by Marshal Yanda's retirement. This is a bit early for Cleveland, but he could definitely end up being a solid starter to help Lamar Jackson.
C+ Grade
The Ravens announced Brandon Stephens as a defensive back, which makes sense because he doesn't have a natural position. He's still learning how to play defensive back, so the floor on him is very low. He has high potential, and I had him pegged in the fifth round, so I don't hate this pick.
A- Grade
Tylan Wallace would have been drafted earlier if he didn't have a history of knee injuries. He doesn't have great size and speed, but he runs routes very well. I like the value the Ravens are getting with him as they potentially fill a need.
C Grade
The Cardinals missed out on Tyson Campbell in the second round, so I'm not surprised they went after someone like Marco Wilson, who is incredibly athletic. However, the Cardinals announced Wilson as a safety, which is surprising. Safety was a need as well, but we'll have to see how Wilson transitions to this position.
A Grade
This is Baltimore's second edge rusher, which can't be a surprise. The Ravens lost Yannick Ngakoue and Matthew Judon, so they had to replace them. Daelin Hayes is a nice value pick; I've had him pegged in the fourth round.
B+ Grade
The Ravens are one of the few teams that still use a fullback, so they were able to get the top player at the position in this class. This is fine.
A- Grade
Victor Dimukeje is just an average athlete, but he was a very productive player at Duke. The Cardinals need all the pass-rushing help they can get, and Dimukeje easily could have gone earlier than this. I'm a fan of this pick.
