Raiders Like Nick Bosa, Quinnen Williams

Yesterday, WalterFootball.com reported how Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray and Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins were in play for the Oakland Raiders with the fourth-overall pick. The Raiders are considering all options with how to improve their team, and if they decide to pass on or miss out on the quarterbacks, Oakland has a preference among the defensive prospects who could be worthy of the No.4 overall pick. Those preferred players are Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa and Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.  


Bosa and Williams are the top two prospects in the 2019 NFL Draft. However, one of them could get to the fourth pick because multiple quarterbacks could go in the top-three picks. Of the two, the Raiders would prefer Bosa, as they have a bigger need at defensive end. Oakland really likes Williams, but they aren't very enthusiastic about taking another tackle after drafting P.J. Hall and Maurice Hurst last year. The other top defensive prospect is Kentucky linebacker Josh Allen, and while the Raiders like him, they are significantly higher on Bosa and Williams. 


The Raiders are also open to trading down around 10 spots and adding more pick ammunition for Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden to use towards rebuilding the Oakland roster. If the Raiders stick and pick at No.4 and don't take a quarterback, their top favorite prospects are Bosa and Williams.
