Strengths: Possesses compact strength and muscular thighs ... Extremely athletic ... Great short area quickness; displays a nice burst off the snap ... Nice technique; stays low ... Wide array of pass rush moves (rip, swim, bull, etc.) ... Grades out well on his long chase (run to sideline and make tackle); solid range ... Tough ... Shows upside in one-gap schemes ...High motor ... Instinctive ... Big time leader.

Weaknesses: Does not have a lot of mass and is going to struggle against bigger linemen ... Room to put on more bulk without losing quickness? ... Sometimes manhandled against the run; gets locked in and can't disengage ... Needs to improve hand placement ... Not versatile; only a 3-technique or situational pass rusher ... Disappears occasionally ... Comes with durability concerns.

Summary: Marks has your typical skill set of a highly athletic, smaller defensive tackle who is only going to play 3-technique in the pros, usually in the Tampa 2 defense. Auburn asked him to play defensive end in his first two seasons, but wasn't the monster statistically I thought he could have been. He is likely going to come off the board in the second or third rounds.

Player Comparison: Jonathan Babineaux. Babineaux was a highly productive player for the Falcons this year, excelling in the one-gap and breaking up plays in the backfield, but he is a huge liability against the run.
