The point of going with McCarthy is the price vs upside. We do NOT, at this moment, have a 'contending' team. We have 22 something FAs and holes in the roster before those FAs were to hit the market. Thus, we need a solid QB on a rookie deal in order to fill the talent gaps and FA holes, which our cap space should allow without having to pay a QB like Rodgers, or Darnold 40 something mil. ??‍??

@Cwillyrun1 There is ZERO chance Rodgers ends-up on The Vikings(periodt). All the other takes I could see. It would be nice to tag and trade Darnold for more draft capital. Also, I thought I heard Cousins and ATL agreed for him to come back there as a back-up already.

No way in hell are The Vikings taking a Safety from Ga in the first round ever again ????. Bigger needs elsewhere like INT D Line and CB anyway.
