@chuckster  The higher the juice, the higner your winning % has to be. If you are playing highly juiced plays, better be correct more than the standard breakeven point.

what's up fellas! Haven't had the greatest week 15 and 16, but let's get back into the green this week! Looking at the following plays: Zona +6.5 - i've been on a lot of zona games this year, with a mobile and capable qb they can backdoor a lot of games, which resulted in them being one of the better ATS teams. I don't expect the rams fans to show up and support the team in the colliseum, and rams already anounced sitting several starters. I do think we get an A effort from Zona, and kyle murray is in play for offensive ROY so there is that. Big bets are on zona, and i could really see an outright win for cardinals. Giants +4 this whole must-win narrative has been debunked year after year... Eagles basically won their perceived superbowl last week, and now they have to play giants, who you would think, want nothing more than to ruin Eagles playoff chances. Eagles receiver core is so banged up especially with ertz now missing the game, i just don't see how they would cover a fairly big road # in a divsisional game. Bengals +3 Another game, with the spread being completely off... We get a poorly coached team in cleveland, with a coach taht will probably get fired, off of their last gasp attempt to make playoffs where they came up short. I do hate the cinci off of OT angle, typically i bet against that, but ai am betting on the unraveling of the Browns team - which is tolally in play. Will most likely be on seattle as a homedog as well... Wilson is 6-1 ATS as a homedog, just can't pass up these #s. Best of luck all, BDV

@BigDaddyVladdy  My Eagles defense on the road is putrid. 27 to WAS and GB, 37 to MIA and DAL, 38 to MIN. In comparison at home, Philly hasn't given up more than 17 to anyone since September.....It always amazed me how 3 hour national shows could spend 2 and a half hours talking about one team in one sport. I haven't checked but I hope Aikman or Romo aren't doing the game as an Eagles fan it's too easy to notice their biases.

@time to sign  I am rooting for the eagles to win the game, i have a small bet on them to win the superbowl from mid-season. Also i never liked the cowboys, not sure why, but would rather see eagles in the dance than sporte media talking about cowboys all day. Good luck with your action tmr!

@BigDaddyVladdy  I'm also watching ARZ +6.5 as the line as been on the rise and it would be great to see +7 pop up. The NYG line seems to be decreasing, but I lean them as well.

Greetings from Vegas, degens! On 2 games, pretty big. Caesars sportsbook has titans at +3.5, love this homedog even with henry out. Saints ruled out 2 offensive linemen, expect brees to be under pressure. Outdoor brees isnt as effective as indoor, and coming out of emotional and record setting MNF game, expect a bit of a flat effort from saints. Jags +7.5 Super flat spot for falcons here, and really, why are the Falcons favorite by this much over anyone? Dan quinn is a horrible coach versus unfamiliar opponents, and you know everyone is teasing the f out of falcons today. Best of luck, Bdv

Had a detailed post that got deleted. Looking at 2 games this week: Detroit +6, huge overadjiustment in point (original spread was det -2.5). Winston is injured (but playing) evans is out, putting slay on godwin. big bets are on detroit. Chargers +1. Minny defense hasn't traveled well this year, giving up 10 points more on the road vs home. Anthony Lynn has good homedog stats for the Chargers. Cousins is 1-7 ats for the vikings when the line is within 3 points. Big bets are clearly behind chargers. Teaser of the week: Pats -3, Chicago +11, Zona +10, Chargers +8, Oakland Pick, Buffalo +8 (with pit being a super easy hedge/scoop play). Good luck all, BDV

What's up boys! I'll post my nfl picks a little later, if not tomorrow morning, but wanted to post a boxing pick for later today. ESPN is showcasing Terrence Crawford, but the match of night is Lopez vs Commey. This is an even-ish scrap, even though lopez is a healthy -230 favorite. The outcome is too tough to call, and there is probably some value on commey by KO, but i want to focus on the O/U here - 10.5 +185. Both of these guys have high career KO%, and can easily put the other one away. Unless the total fix is in, and it's boxing so who knows, I don't see this going past an 8th round. Good luck All, BDV

Whats up boys! 2 games are catching my attention this week, might post a 3rd by sunday. Zona +3. It seems ive had a piece of either zona or pit every week this year. Was on zona and pit last week, but the main thing for me here is the following: tomlin is a spectacular coach in specific situations, and this is not it 14-28 ats as a road favorite versus sub .500 teams. This is also shaping up as a letdown spot after 3 divisional gamea in a row, and we all know steelers were supremky focused on last week. Zona is one of the better ats teams in the league, and we get them as a homedog. Raiders +3 This titans team runs hot n cold, although part of it might have been mariotta. They followed up a lot of their big wins with losses over last 2 seasons. I think its a descent time to buy low on the raiders, who played much better at home this year (my guess is a super rowdy crowd embracing last year of homegames). This feels like a perfect buylow sellhigh spot for both teams. For you boxing fans, joshua ruiz fight is on dazn tmr. Joshua showed up lighter in weight, meaning he is training for a 12 round fight. I expect him to have a conservative gameplan and grind out a victory behind his jab. -230 is a tremendous price for a guy who was -2500 just a short time ago. Excellent parlay padder, or just a standalone piece worth a wager. Best of luck, Bdv

I think its a descent time to buy low on the raiders, who played much better at home this year (my guess is a super rowdy crowd embracing last year of homegames). This feels like a perfect buylow sellhigh spot for both teams. For you boxing fans, joshua ruiz fight is on dazn tmr. Joshua showed up lighter in weight, meaning he is training for a 12 round fight. I expect him to have a conservative gameplan and grind out a victory behind his jab. -230 is a tremendous price for a guy who was -2500 just a short time ago. Adding one more play to the card, denver +9. Its a hold your nose type of play, but rookie qbs this year are great at covering spreads in the first 2 weeks (15-4 ats). Houston hasnt covered a game as an 8+ point favorite in 6 years! This year alone, houston is 1-4 ats as a favorite, and they are now coming off of their biggest win of the season (every team that beat the pats last year, lost next week) before playing a divisional opponent. Denver played a lot of close 1score type games this year, so they are not mailing it in. Original spread was hou -5.5, and are crossing 3 key #s with this overreaction. Good luck all, Bdv

@BabyBettor  Per betlabs, over the last 15 seasons (or close to it): Overall ATS - 190-165 (53.5%) Home Favorites: 77-67 (53.5%) against-the-spread Away Favorites: 48-23 (67.6%) against-the-spread Home Underdogs: 26-32 (44.8%) against-the-spread Away Underdogs: 64-68 (48.5%) against-the-spread I think coaching trends are super pertinent; there are simply better coaches that gameplan superbly for opponents over an extended period of time.

Pit +2 I've been on a few of these Pittsburg as a dog, or pittsburg with a losing record sides as Tomlin has incredible stats there. I know a ton of missing players for Pitt, but there is major revenge factor, and they seem to be a better team with Hodges operating at the wheel. The best unit on the field is Pitt Defense, and i fully expect them to take over this game. Bengals +3. Another homedog for me, but i think jets are being bet up before of last week's game vs a non focused raider team. Original line was Cinci -1.5, and yes, cinci is worse than we thought, but their Defense shored up over the last couple of weeks allowing only 16 points/game against somewhat capable offenses + Dalton is an upgrade over whatever the hell they were starting before. This is probably cinci's best chance at avoiding an 0-16 season, so i expect a solid effort here. Teaser of the week: Titans +7, Pit +9, Zona +10, Philly -3, Carolina -3, NE +4 (with ability to take houston +3 or maybe even better by the time game kicks for hedge/scoop)). Best of luck, BDV

@time to sign  I feel like you'd be a good person to ask... I am in absurdly high stakes Fantasy league... playoffs are on the line.. Trying to figure out best player to start.. Have Watkins/Sutton/AJ Brown/Deebo Samuel at WR (can only start 2 of these in WR slot - already started Golladay). Then there is a flex spot, where i have benny snell & darrel williams. Thoughts???

2-1 on posted picks yesterday. Had a feeling gb game might have been a trap, and it was. Rolling with rams -4 -116 tonight. Homedog in primetime, check. Way inflated spread - check (original spread, was rams -7). Goff is much better at home than road, and receivers are healthu. Rams are great against the run which should somewhat slow down baltimore attack. Rams r also somewhat familiar with scrambling qbs, having russell wilson and kyle murray in their division. Been treading water last couple of weeks, but let's try to crush week 12! Jets +3 I like this game from multiple angles... Original line was Jets -3. Gruden era raiders are 3-8ats on the road, 2-6ats in the early slot on east coast. The world where this raiders team is a double digit favorite at home & road favorite on the road in b2b weeks, just doesn't make sense to me. Bigger bets are landing on jets as well. Cinci +7 -115 Divisional homedog, which i always appreciate. Original spread was Pit -3, and now mason rudolph is -6? This is truly THE MOTHER of ALL spots, Pitsburgh is playing cleveland next week - i don't think we get a fully focused team, that by the way is missing james conner, juju & pouncey. as much as i've been praising tomlin, as a favorite of 6 or more, he is only 8-18ats. GB +3. Rodgers, in primetime, off a bye, with no lookahead scenario. Sign me up.This might be a total trap, but i just don't see how you can pass up catching points here. TB +4 - might be time to sell this atlanta run. Philly ML? Philly might be a tad bit underrated. Been treading water last couple of weeks, but let's try to crush week 12! Jets +3 I like this game from multiple angles... Original line was Jets -3. Gruden era raiders are 3-8ats on the road, 2-6ats in the early slot on east coast. The world where this raiders team is a double digit favorite at home & road favorite on the road in b2b weeks, just doesn't make sense to me. Bigger bets are landing on jets as well. Cinci +7 -115 Divisional homedog, which i always appreciate. Original spread was Pit -3, and now mason rudolph is -6? This is truly THE MOTHER of ALL spots, Pitsburgh is playing cleveland next week - i don't think we get a fully focused team, that by the way is missing james conner, juju & pouncey. as much as i've been praising tomlin, as a favorite of 6 or more, he is only 8-18ats. GB +3. Rodgers, in primetime, off a bye, with no lookahead scenario. Sign me up.This might be a total trap, but i just don't see how you can pass up catching points here. frustrating day yesterday, was on the way to go 2 out of 4, and the arizona/49ers somehow pushed. Rolling with Chargers tonight. They are a better team on the road, hell they might even have more fans in mexico city than in LA show up to the game. Vegas got murdered yesterday, with KC liability still looming. The line is 2, if not 3 points too high. Chargers have the tools to keep mahomes off the field with gordon and ekeler, and an above average secondary to disrupt mahomes. best of luck, BDV

@time to sign  100% inflated. The SB line was NE - 4 on a neutral field. Yes, things have changed, but not this much. As of right now, i haven't pulled the trigger, but adding Tampa Bay +5 to the card. Divisional homedog, that should have some bite to them today. Let's GET IT!

My Eagles are going to provide a reminder to everyone of that super bowl win. Forget that without D-Jax or Alshon Philly has no way to stretch the field vertically and that Belichick has 2 weeks to prepare to stop 5 yard passes to Ertz. Short write up prior to sunday, off to Vegas - going to the canelo/kovalev fight. Tampa bay +6. Tons of sharp money on tampabay. Arians is 4-1 vs ats vs wilson in seattle. Lookahead scenario for seattle. Pit +1. Ive written about this before, but tomlin is an amazing underdog coach and gets the tesm focus when they have a losing record. He emphasized getting to .500 in their post game speach. Colts secondary banged up and ty hilton is ruled out. Jets -3. Goes against all my homedog principals, but jets should get right here. @BigDaddyVladdy  I took a small a shot with WAS at the + price b/c HOU has all the pressure at home in a series the road team has dominated and I have the better starter. I know WAS bullpen is terrible but we won't see most of those guys (hopefully) and Corbin is likely to come in if needed.

Back to regular posting after being swamped with my buddy's wedding last week. Giants +7. I really feel like this is a gift of a spread. Detroits best running back is injured slay is out, and they just traded their starting safety. Rookie qbs hate pressure, and detroit simply doesnt blitz much. Wouldnt be suprised if giants pull of a road upset here. Jets +7 -115. Classic buy low spot on the jets. Everyone just saw them look horrible in mnf, but their softer side of the schedule starts now. Jags no longer have the blistering heat homefield advantage, and eating 7 points with gardner minshew is ridicolous. Original line was jax -4, and that was with foles at qb, so we r saying minshew is 3 poings better? Carolina +6. Another ridiculous-ish type spread. Original line was 49ers -2.5, and i get a few things happened. 49ers are better than we expected, but kyle allen is still undefeated ATS. we get carolina off a bye coupled with rivera being a great dog coach (17-8 ats last 25 games). This shapes up as a low scoring game, giving a dog +pts even more credence. Teaser of the weeek: Giants +14, hou pick, philly +9, sea pick, indy +2,gb +3, with kc +4 as a hedge/scoop. @BigDaddyVladdy  1-2 ats, the jets game really annoyed me. I dont think they are that much worse than jax. Carolina laid an absolute egg, and this type of loss might get cam newton back. Good news though, teaser got there, although i gave some back on the kc hedge play. Doubt ill play mnf. We are on to cincinatti.

Back to regular posting after being swamped with my buddy's wedding last week. Giants +7. I really feel like this is a gift of a spread. Detroits best running back is injured slay is out, and they just traded their starting safety. Rookie qbs hate pressure, and detroit simply doesnt blitz much. Wouldnt be suprised if giants pull of a road upset here. Jets +7 -115. Classic buy low spot on the jets. Everyone just saw them look horrible in mnf, but their softer side of the schedule starts now. Jags no longer have the blistering heat homefield advantage, and eating 7 points with gardner minshew is ridicolous. Original line was jax -4, and that was with foles at qb, so we r saying minshew is 3 poings better? Carolina +6. Another ridiculous-ish type spread. Original line was 49ers -2.5, and i get a few things happened. 49ers are better than we expected, but kyle allen is still undefeated ATS. we get carolina off a bye coupled with rivera being a great dog coach (17-8 ats last 25 games). This shapes up as a low scoring game, giving a dog +pts even more credence. Teaser of the weeek: Giants +14, hou pick, philly +9, sea pick, indy +2,gb +3, with kc +4 as a hedge/scoop. @BigDaddyVladdy  The Jets also spent the week talking about how they were disrespected by JAX last year when the game was in hand and they scored a late TD and went for 2.

@time to sign  We'll see how some of these spreads look. Its one thing to get up for the game, its another to have talent/scheme to execute, especially when golden states troops have a lot to proove themselves. Side note, been down on nba over the last few years as a viewing product, but pretty pumped for this season. Between multiole contenders and the lakers resurgence, i am on board paid for league pass.

Whats up gents! I am taking a shot at jets +10 today. Always love a homedog, but esepcially a divisonal homedog. Original line was NE -4.5, so we are getting 5.5 points to play with ( i think we r getting the falk treatment with this line, not darnold). Pats were 7 point favorites at buffalo, and didnt cover, and idk if this buffalo team is fulll 3 points better than Jets. Even though youll hear on espn how pats beat up on jets constantly, jets covered last 5 out of 6. We are probably looking at a kitchen sink game from the jets, 5th loss might be too much to overcome for a team with playoff aspirations. Good luck all, Bdv

@BigDaddyVladdy  ya me too. Not that Wilson is a lock or anything especially considering 2 weeks ago everyone was ready to give it to Mahomes. Mahomes and Watson seem like good choices and are both favored to win the division while SEA has to compete with both the Rams and 49ers this year. Mccaffrey is also making noise in CAR. If they ever beat NOS for that division, you know he'll get most of the credit over the rookie QB. And yes, let's cash the Lions ticket!!

@BigDaddyVladdy  I said at the beginning of year when I posted my week 1 lines here that SEA has the NFL's best QB. Unfortunately I didn't consider betting Wilson to win MVP. But i'm happy people are realizing how elite he is.

What's up Gents! Couple of week 6 picks i like: Jets +7 Mentioned earlier while replying to @timetosign's post... This is a classic overreacion game. Original spread for this game was cowboys -2, which rates these two teams correctly. Now cowboys are expected to come into a road game, and win by 7+? Sam Darnold is back for the jets, and this offense will move the ball. Public is betting the boys, yet the money distribution is pretty much even, very much a joes vs pros game. Let's go homedoggy! Cle +1.5 I was really hoping for a bigger Seattle overreaction to push this into +3 territory. Everyone and their mom is betting last week's results, but original spread was Cle -1; hell the spread before MNF was Cle -2.5! Looks like Seattle will be without 2 offensive linemen here, and you have to think Browns rebound. I am well aware of the week prior TNF vs MNF advantage, and am def concerned with that trend,but again, we are following the money - and the bigger bets are flowing onto cleveland. This might be my first (and who knows, maybe last) chalk pick.. Carolina -2. Maybe this is a trap, but this is an England (pretty sure it's not london, but not sure where Tottenham Spurs play) game, and the rule of thumb for these, you take a better team. Carolina took of earlier to Engalnd than TB which is a distinct advantage. Carolina's defensive weakness is stopping the run, and i am just not sure TB is equipped to punish them. Kyle Allen hasn't lost ATS yet, and i just don't think this is the game he loses. I'll be up early to watch this one. Teaser of the week: TN +9, CLE +8.5, Saints +10, Arizona +9.5, Over 44 Zona/Atlanta, Chargers + .5/Pick (with Pit as the potential hedge/scoop scenario if we are still alive). @BigDaddyVladdy  The game is in London at the new Tottenham Stadium (will be renamed once they find a sponsor). All NFL games will be played here from now on; the synthetic turf for games, concerts, etc is used when soccer is not being played. Beautiful facility, toured it back in the summer.

Greetings boys. Couple of plays i like for tomorrow. Pitt +3.5 Divisional homedog always peeks my interest, especially in a bitter rivalry like this. Tomlin covers as a dog, and i mentioned a stat earlier.. he wins something like 70% of his games when pitt has a losing record - almost double the league average. It seems the books want you to take baltimore given the juice on the game. I get that cinci is no baltimore, but i appreciate the gameplan to make Rudolph's life easier. Denver +6 Divisional dog that no one wants to bet, yet there is a ton of money on them. Chargers dont have a home field advantage, at all. I think there is a bit of recency bias too in publics eyes. Chargers covered, Denver didnt last week. Denver was up most of the game, and chargers had a lot of trouble with miami. Chargers might have to work out some kinks with Melvin gordon coming back as well. I am not in love with this game, but atlanta +4 is calling my attention. I normally fade road matty ice, but its a dome game. This has shootout potential, and without a good running game to speak of, i just dont see how houston would ice the game. Best of luck all, Bdv

Greetings boys. Couple of plays i like for tomorrow. Pitt +3.5 Divisional homedog always peeks my interest, especially in a bitter rivalry like this. Tomlin covers as a dog, and i mentioned a stat earlier.. he wins something like 70% of his games when pitt has a losing record - almost double the league average. It seems the books want you to take baltimore given the juice on the game. I get that cinci is no baltimore, but i appreciate the gameplan to make Rudolph's life easier. Denver +6 Divisional dog that no one wants to bet, yet there is a ton of money on them. Chargers dont have a home field advantage, at all. I think there is a bit of recency bias too in publics eyes. Chargers covered, Denver didnt last week. Denver was up most of the game, and chargers had a lot of trouble with miami. Chargers might have to work out some kinks with Melvin gordon coming back as well. I am not in love with this game, but atlanta +4 is calling my attention. I normally fade road matty ice, but its a dome game. This has shootout potential, and without a good running game to speak of, i just dont see how houston would ice the game. Best of luck all, Bdv

@BigDaddyVladdy  The case I heard all week was the Rams were -7 in this game last year and this price is cheap... SEA at home in a night game always has me interested. Pete Carrol has a proven track record (8-1) on Thursday nights and as I stated earlier, I just want to bet against road Jared Goff... The under does warm my heart!! GL with your action BDV!

@Ravineman  Tough to say. I think this line already had chubb news factored in there. This is a pure guess, but id say better chance it goes to 6 than 7... chargers just dont have much of a home field advantage (i live in LA, its kind of a joke actually). Chargers are pretty terriblr ats at home, so I can see thst being factored into the spread move more so than delayed reaction to chubb being out.

@Ravineman  There are a couple of ways you can apprximate the next line move. 1. Read between the lines of key player injuries. Sometimes you just have to cut through bs. 2. Keep a eye on bets vs money distributions, covers, vegasinsider,action network all do reporting on this. 3. Keep an eye out on multiple marketplaces... i.e. shop around for best line, if you see one market place with a different line, anticipate the move into that direction. Hope this helps.

This is a rough week dealing with some qb unknowns, but let's try to make sense of it all.

Saints +4.5

For starters i am simply not impressed with seahawks. Close game vs cinci, and they beat pitt sans Roethlisberger (pitt was leading prior to Ben's exit). Bridgewater might not have looked great, but he is probably the top backup in NFL. Bridgewater is 12-2 ats as a dog. Big bets are coming in on Saints, and i think they show a heck of an effort and cover the spread.

Pitt +7 -115

I dont know if tomlin is the best  x's and o's coach, but he is a damn good motivational coach.  Under tomlin, when pitt has a losing record, they win over 70% of the time (almost double the leauge average).  49ers havent covered a game as a home favorite 12 last games in that situation.. 49ers home opener in week3, is historically a bad spot. Original line was pick, or maybe even pitt -1, this seems as a bit of an overreaction.

Det +6 (sorry @timetosign, betting agaisnt your eagles)

Full disclosure i bet thia game at +7, -120, but i like this at 6 as well. This is such a horrible scheduling spot for the eagles,.MNF into sunday morning, into TNF. too many injuries to name for the eagles, and the secondary has been torched. Even if eagles go up 10+, the backdoor is wide open here.

Teaser of the week: vikes -2.5, detroit +13, saints +11.5, hou +10, Atlanta +8.5, cleveland +10 (with rams -3 or moneyline with hedge/scoop attempt).

Not a bad showing on sunday going 3-1.. missng my posted teaser by half a point because of gardner minshews last second heroics was pretty brutal.

I am tempted to take a homedoggy tonight.. the spread is cerainly inflated, but moving on to week 3 where i am already eyeing a few plays.

I can't complain about going 14-4 yesterday with plays posted here. 1u plays 5-2, 0.5u plays 9-2 (portion of those were correlated to bigger plays in GB and BUF games, philly was a middle attempt). But when you go 3-1 in the afternoon and the L (KCC over) was on pace and was the bigger play I just want to throw up A b/c I hate overs, B b/c it gets there if kcc and oak both don't turn the ball over in the red zone and KCC doesn't punt after having a TD called back via penalty. 

Yes I'm aware BUF and GB games had strong arguments for going over but its true: you only remember what you saw last.

Got lucky my book didn't take CLE game off immediately thus I have CLE -2.5 -115. My number was NYJ -1.5 and with the injuries it's now CLE -3. Agree with Chuckster: can't trust CLE laying points like this until they prove it. I also don't trust a young CLE team to stay focused against an injured foe. Jets backup QB is limited but not terrible and how big of a downgrade is he from Darnold? Darnold has more potential but just for tonight, I'm not sure it's that big a difference. I got out of my CLE position entirely with Jets +6.5. Cle by 3,4,6 would make my night.

Can't wait to see what you're on next week BDV. Let's beat the books again!

@BigDaddyVladdy:  Hey bud,  good for you Sir on the 3-1 on Sunday.  Anyone would take a  75  percent winning  ATS...six days a week and twice on Sunday!!! (lol.)  Yea, we got a potential of a real pig-fest of a game tonight with the loud speaking, under-performing Browns,  on the road against the beat up, (real beat up) Jets.  That said,  laying 6.5 on the road with the Browns SU and ats historical record,  seems like  to much.  I played the Jets in a big teaser,  before the Jets QB  illness hit the media.  Trying to close up a small wagered 5 team 14 pointer tonight with the Jets +16.5....Is it a little sad to say, that I'm a little worried about the Home team plus 16.5??....Yikes!!  Continued good picking for you Sir...GLTA  tonight.

Week 2 is all about overreactions, so let's take advantage of that:

Zona +13

Original spread was Zona +8.5, so we are getting free 4.5 points to play with because Baltimore blew out a dumpster fire of a team.  Baltimore has KC on deck, and not sure they will get 100% focus on a team that looked kind of atrocious for 3 quarters. I am hoping that Zona's air raid can take advantage of a banged up baltimore secondary.

Colts +4 -120

Original spread was Pick, so it's not as much value as i'd like given Andrew Luck's retirement. However, this titans team runs hot and cold after big wins - and this cleveland win was a big win for them, it was evident in all the press conferences after. Titans beat philly and NE last year, and followed up both of those wins with losses to non-playoffteams. Some numerical perspetive, last 5 times titans scored 30+, they average 17 points in the following game. Colts are well coached, can match TN in the trenches, and TY Hilton & Mack can match TN's playmakers.

Very interested in Wash +6; @TimeToSign layed out a great blueprint as to why it's a good bet (original spread was a pick), but my book is being stubborn at SKins +5. If it gets to +6, i will be on this game as well.

Teaser of the week: Det +9.5, Vikings +10, Hou -1.5, KC Pick, 49ers +8, Atlanta +8.5 with a chance to take Philly at a small ML as hedge/scoop.

as promised, adding Wash +6. Divisional homedog, at key number, and an inflated line is very hard for me to pass up. Original line was Pickem, and dallas -6 is a gross overreaction to them looking spectacular versus a bottom 3 team in the league. this game should be a bit of a grind, and i think there is a good chance AP has a good game versus his homestate team that wasn't willing to sign him back in the day.

Its probably wiser just to take the moneyline, but ill gladly take the points. Chargers are banged up as all hell, and this is a home opener for Detroit - i expect the crowd to be into it. Bigger bets are hitting Detroit, and this line is on the move. From a line perspective, this kind of doesnt make sense... chargers -2.5 in Detroit, -5.5 on neutral field, -8.5 at home? So you are saying colts w/o luck are 2 points better than detroit? 

Detroit makes an excellent teaser pillar, we r crossing 3 and 7.

Thanks BDV. Truthfully I thought DET just got into soft coverage and it wasn't anything ARI did (something that has me think Under in tmrw's ARI game) ATL through key numbers makes so much sense on a teaser that I know i'll try to get live to it. It would be nice to find a cheap ML on PHI and turn a 6 point middle into 7 or 8 if fortunate enough to be live.

Not the greatest showing last week for detroit,  but theoretically, that could be a motivational angle. It's also hard to ice someone on the road.

I am playing around with some teasers with both Atlanta and philly to cap off the day. I see value in both sides teased, but hate crossing 0 if you r teasing them.

@BigDaddyVladdy Only reason I haven't jumped on DET yet is b/c last week left a sour taste in my mouth and I just have a feeling they will play well do everything right lose by 3. Though tmrw i'll probably add some ml. Also want to play ATL (Why do i do this to myself?) as a home puppy against my Eagles or at least have live teaser to them at night

Closing my eyes, holding my nose, amd taking an ugly dog tonight. This is a divisional game and a touchdown to play with. My books is offering carolina -7 +105, i feel like they are just begging for morr Carolina money. Tampa bay had 2 touchdowns called back on penalties last week and the pick 6, they are not as bad as media makes them out to be. I am thinking a close, competetive game, Carolina wins but doesnt cover.

Decent start to the season yesterday. When making my colts play, i thought about the ml and stayed away.. it would have been a loser inevitably, but was 100% in play, especially since vinatieri all kept 7 points off the board for the colts. Ill gladly take an ats cover though.

I am on houston +7 tonight. Big bets r landing on Houston, and a healthy watson should keep this competitive. Over the last 5 years, saints are 1-9 ats in first 2 weeks of the season. I like the tunsil addition for houston as well.

Gents, we have made it through the summer, and fball is upon us! Great to see the usual band of degenerates, i mean regulars haha, madturk, timetosign, chuckster, etc. Lets have a great season boys!

3 bets i already wagered a bit early, and have a better line than the current marketplace"

Buffalo +3.5, divisional dogs do well in week 1. Buffalos defense is legit, and while i am a darnold fan, josh allen can hold his own. Id bet it at 3, but  not below that.

Jax +4. Jacksonville is a homedog thats gettin big bets, sign me up! Last year these teams played in arrowhead, and kc was -3. Crazy overreaction of a line. 

Carolina +3. Road goff isnt as good as home goff. Carolina is a tough out at home, and again a homedog thats receiving big bets.. idk if id bet this game at a lower spread than 3, and personally might not be able to stay away from a middling opportunity.
