Not sure where Tony Romo got his information from but NFL Next Gen stats has Mahomes much better against man, NOT zone coverage. Mahomes had just 7 TDs and 7INTs versus zone coverage this year, and was also elite versus man but not zone in 2022. The fact that the 49ers play mostly zone favors the 49ers, not the Chiefs

Arthur Smith plays Tyler Allgeier because he's elite at pass blocking for a RB, & Bijan Robinson might be the worst RB in pass protection in the league. Hopefully Robinson improves

Saying Derek Carr was benched for Jarrett Stidham last year is true but misleading. Raiders knew they were moving on from Carr and didn't want to take a chance of an injury which would make his contract fully guaranteed. Carr was 14th in total QBR last year, better than Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Trevor Lawrence

@You are 100% correct. The Raiders organization is incredibly dysfunctional. Carr was performing at solid level when the team made the decision to start Stidham and bench Carr whose contract would extend if he suffered an injury. Not surprisingly the rest of the team basically quit on the rest of the year. Carr was not 'benched for Stidham' because of performance.
