Sam Darnold stinks. Sure, you can say he has been put in a position to fail. But at the same time, he has shown no improvement since getting drafted. He is playing the same way in his 2nd year in the NFL as his last year at USC

The Cult of Damien Williams has finally been silenced. The guy stinks, he stunk in Miami, and people just ignored all the red flags because "muh Chiefs system is da best"

The 3rd and final pick baker threw was clearly his fault. Sure, you shouldn't have your RB running a slant route.But, Baker threw it behind him on a SLANT, forcing Hillard to try and catch it while spinning around backwards. Plus, he had two guys wide open over the middle, yet Baker stared down his first read. If he looked off, he would of seen his TE wide open in the middle. Baker is chunky, slow, not seeing the field, and has poor mechanics right now. His pick in the end zone personifies this. Poor mechanics, and again, throwing BEHIND on a slant right.

I really thought Luke Falk would be hospitalized after the game last Sunday. Darnold really might have died behind that o line

Geez Walt, why do you hate Minshew and the Jags so much? Can't you just let the kid and his fans have some fun? Jacksonville has been a horrid organization for most of their years in the league. Their fans have suffered years and years watching awful QBs. Who cares if they like Minshew? He's got personality and is fun to watch. Let them have something man. Jags fans aren't insufferably getting in people's faces about their team's greatness like Cowboys and Browns fans. You're heaping all this praise on Daniel Jones, yet Minshew has performed better. The kid just led a game winning drive IN Denver, a very rough place to play. He has ONE interception on the year, Jones has multiple. Cut Minshew and the Jags fans some slack will ya? Let them have some fun for once with that organization. No need to be a krumugin, anxiously rubbing your hands together praying that Minshew fails every week.

Also, for Chicago: Matt Nagy looked like a crackhead on the sidelines during that game? Team was up 28-0, he's furiously chewing on his pen and panning through his massive play sheet. Calling all these crazy plays and formations with random motions and hard counts. Running Patterson in an I-formation off the edge. Running Tarik Cohen up the gut with a stacked box. Having Tribs go through these crazy reads, and he predictably throws a pick in the red zone. Like dude, just give Montgomery the ball you're up 4 scores!!!

For thursday: Keep in mine the Packers haven't played anyone either. Tribs, Cousins, Flacco....all bum QBs. Let's see how that defense fairs against Wentz

@The Nail you actually believe NFL QBs don't have the arm strength to overcome 15 mph winds?

45 attempts for Trubisky, and only 15 total rushes by Chicago. And the game was never more than a one score contest.

@Anon yeah Nagy really fell in love with the Mike Davis screen pass on third and long lol what was that about? Cohen had some drops as well. Trubisky should have thrown multiple picks, Packers dropped a couple. Nagy had a horrible gameplan. Montgomery is very talented, but hardly saw the field. Patterson running up the gut on third down? What was Nagy smoking?

@GranolaJoe33

Yep. Cohen didn't even have a rushing attempt make the stat sheet! Not sure what Walter saw out of Montgomery being "special". Six carries for 18 yards is not special.

Cohen was actually criminally underutilized...always a decoy, never first opinion, never used in ground game. Trubisky was concerningly bad. Slow, slow decision making. Threw the ball too late, especially to Cohen (who needs space, but due to late delivery by Trubisky had none).

Agreed the Nagy play calling was very bad.

Long time reader Walt. Just want to point out I disagree with your Tyler Lockett take, and what you say about double coverage in general. That's just not something teams do much of anymore. Statistically, double coverage is the least run defensive package in the league across all teams.
