The Steelers might be underrated, as crazy as that might sound. Nobody believes in them, and I’m convinced that they were sleepwalking against the Browns. Their defense is still elite.

The Titans beat the Texans, and they actually looked like the better team throughout the day. Houston is such a fraudulent contender.

The Texans were dreadful against the Lions, and Detroit gifted them with five turnovers. Everybody is going to be saying that the Texams should have won, even though Detroit heavily outgained them.

Even before Collins got injured, the Texans offense had plenty of issues. The Jets managed to expose a lot of them, sacking Stroud a total of 8 times! Yes, the Texans outgained the Jets, but a lot of those yards came in garbage time.

With that being said, Stroud only went 11 for 30, so the offensive line isn’t the only issue.

The Titans heavily outgained the Lions, with it not being a byproduct of garbage time. People are going to be going on about how the Lions managed to score 52 points against the Titans defense, when the stats around the board for Detroit’s offense weren’t impressive in the slightest. I can’t tell if this suggests that the Lions are overrated or if the Titans are highly underrated right now.

@SadisticNobility the Lions were “heavily outgained” because they consistently had short fields due to turnovers and great kick returns. They capitalized on those short fields with touchdowns. It is true that the Lions didn’t play their best game, and yet they still won by 38 points. You take that observation to mean they’re overrated? Seems to me like you’re box score watching rather than tuning into the game. The Lions dominated them in every way, and it could’ve been even worse

The Giants are a better team than their record indicates, so I agree about them being underrated. Jones looks like a franchise quarterback now

Daniel Jones is suddenly appearing to be a very potent quarterback, thanks to Malik Nabers. I had a gut feeling that teams were making a mistake by passing on Nabers in the draft. Just imagine if the Chargers snagged him instead of Joe Alt.

@SadisticNobility

Gotta disagree on Jones. He sucks. He can't complete a pass 20+ yards. He was just doing more check-down compiling last night, only without his usual handful of TOs. He never truly threatens the secondary.

@SadisticNobility

I'm not sure I've noticed the word mollywhopped before.  I hope it doesn't have some dirty meaning to it.

@biskit52250

He has the Vikings at #4. Can't hate them that much.

@SadisticNobility he hates the vikings and will always have an excuse ready for them getting a win. Just the opposite for the 49ers because he will always have an excuse for their losses

The Jets humiliated the Patriots tonight, and I don’t even care what the score says. New England had seven first downs mid-way into the forth quarter, and their defense was carved up. The game is nowhere near as close as the score suggests.

The Titans are 0-2, yet they’ve outgained both of their opponents. That’s just crazy, and they’re still underrated.

If the Titans even had a semi-decent, but below average quarterback like Gardner Minshew or Derek Carr, their offense would function. The special teams are another issue, too. Their defense and the passing weapons, along with Spears are looking impressive at least. The offensive line even looks a shade better.

Tennessee might have finally fixed their secondary, which is a good thing. The pass rush is still in tact.

Tennessee is underrated, and they looked better than Chicago. They lost, despite outgaining them by almost 100 yards!

@SadisticNobility

TEN's success hinges on whether Levis is the guy at QB. If he's not, TEN won't win many games. Judging by what we saw today, Levis has not improved from last season. I don't think his penchant for back-breaking turnovers is going to just go away.

Caleb Williams, meanwhile, looked awful in his debut. He didn’t even score a touchdown.

The Buccaneers are also an overrated team. On the flip side, I think an adequate argument could be made that both the Steelers and the Browns are underrated heading into this season. Neither team has been getting any love, despite how both franchises have added depth all around onto their rosters. The Steelers could be a threat to the Bengals if Wilson or Fields can live up to their billing.

The Titans have been moved up to 17? That seems quite bold, given the lack of depth in their pass rush.

The Bears will earn my respect once they finally beat the Packers. Until then, they are an overrated football team considering how most people are projecting them to make the playoffs.

The Titans have had a remarkable off-season, despite how they had the outlook of an NFL team that was on the verge of quitting a few months ago. I still don’t know if Callahan can be trusted, along with the new coordinators. I would have kept Mike Vrabel, maybe demoting him to being a linebacker’s coach or something.

The offense should be better, but I am not sold on Levis. On top of that, Tennessee has a brutal schedule.

The Jaguars outplayed the Texans, yet everybody chooses to blame the referees for the Texans loss. The Jaguars were the victims of having several neglible calls against them as well in the game, yet nobody ever brings that up. I wonder why?

The Texans are better compared to last season, but they’re really not that good. They feel average at best.

@SadisticNobility

The thing about the Texans: They likely haven't reached their ceiling this season.

Given their youth and the usual ups-and-downs of new coaching philosophies taking root, they've been impressive, especially when you consider that their O-line and secondary are never fully healthy. I think that once Stingley, Suggs, Perryman, Rankins, Fairbairn, etc., fully settle in following injury/suspension and there's some lineup continuity, we'll see a late season run from Houston. (Their remaining schedule is cake.)

JAX is still the class of the AFC South and will only get better once Tyson Campbell returns to the lineup, but the arrow is pointing up for HOU as well. By the end of the season, I think the Texans will be a dangerous Wild Card team capable of a playoff upset.

The Patriots are finally a dumpster fire, and Mac Jones is on the verge of becoming another Teddy Bridgewater. The Texans are also overrated for the time since 2019, and I can’t wait for their self destruction to commence.
