Career Recap: Hundley led the Bruins' 2012 revival as a redshirt freshman and helped get his team to the Pac-12 Championship Game. He completed 66 percent of his passes in 2012 for 3,740 yards with 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, plus ran for 702 yards (355 net) with nine touchdowns. Hundley scored on a 72-yard touchdown run against Rice on his first play of 2012. He threw for 372 yards against a good Oregon State team and finished the year with 329 yards and three touchdowns versus Baylor.

Hundley completed 67 percent of his passes in 2013 for 3,071 yards with 24 touchdowns and nine interceptions. On the ground, he ran for 970 yards (748 net) and 11 scores. Hundley led a furious comeback for a huge road win at Nebraska. In a victory over Utah, he showed off his athletic ability when he caught a touchdown, ran for a touchdown and threw for a touchdown. Hundley struggled against Stanford, but he played better against Oregon than his numbers indicated. Hundley ended the season well by leading UCLA to a win over a Virginia Tech team that featured a good defense.

Hundley considered entering the 2014 NFL Draft, but wisely decided to return for his junior year. He still needs development at the college level before going pro.

2014 Season Outlook: Hundley is going to get tested by a number of elite teams in 2014. Early in the season, he has two challenging road opponents in Texas and Arizona State. The Longhorns have a few defensive draft prospects who could challenge Hundley.

In mid-October, Hundley will get the opportunity to get some revenge against Oregon. The Ducks have a lot of defensive talent with perhaps the best cornerback he'll see all season in Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. Hundley gets Oregon at home, and that presents the opportunity to be a statement game for him.

UCLA will close out the year with rival USC and Stanford. Both teams feature some early-round talent in the secondary and on the defensive line. Playing well against Oregon, USC and Stanford could be huge for Hundley's draft stock.

Skill-Set Summary: There is no doubt that Hundley has the physical skills that appeal to NFL evaluators. He has quality size with a strong enough arm and the ability to play plays with his feet. Hundley is also a good runner who has some speed in the open field. He can extend plays and hurt defenses on the ground when his receivers are covered.

Hundley shows some potential to be an accurate passer. He needs to become more consistent with his accuracy and ball placement.

Hundley has some clear aspects of his game that he has to improve upon for the NFL in 2014. The junior has to develop his pocket-passing ability and his field vision. Hundley too often locks onto his primary read and doesn't work through progressions. He also has a tendency to take off running or scrambling when his first read is covered. If Hundley can show that he can quickly scan through his receivers and deliver the ball accurately to the right receiver, it could be huge for his draft stock.

2015 NFL Draft Expectations: In order to be a high first-round pick, Hundley has to show the ability to thrive as a pocket passer. He needs to improve his field vision and throw accurately. Hundley also needs to play well in big games and not just win the contests that UCLA should win. Entering the 2014 season, the junior is a bit of a wild card. Hundley could be a high first-round pick, a second-day pick or a mid-rounder depending on he develops as a pocket passer.
