Positions to Target
DT: Both starting tackles from last year are gone. It sounds like Sheldon Richardson might come back though. The Browns did sign Malik Jackson and have Andrew Billings but both only have 1 year on their contracts.
EDGE: The Browns signed Jadeveon Clowney and Takk McKinely but only for 1 year deals.
LB: The Browns struggle to cover TEs and if they want to beat the Chiefs and Ravens they need to get better covering TEs.
CB: Denzel Ward, Greedy Williams, and Troy Hill should be a solid starting group. However, Ward and Williams have missed a lot of games. I could see the Browns drafting multiple CBs.
OL: The Browns have a great offensive line but it's good to have depth. Wyatt Teller and Chris Hubbard are in the final year of their contracts.
K: The Browns re-signed Cody Parkey to a one year deal this offseason. His long FG was only 46 yards in 2020.

Round 1 Pick 26 Zaven Collins LB
Watching Collins play vs UCF was very impressive. He can blitz, stop the run, and drop into coverage.

Round 2 Pick 59 Ronnie Perkins EDGE
Perkins had an impressive 2020 and generated lots of pressure.

Round 3 Pick 89 Marvin Wilson DT
Wilson was a 5 star recruit and was once considered a first round pick candidate but a down 2020 has him in the day 2 range now.

Round 3 Pick 91 Paulson Adebo CB
Adebo has good ball skills with 8 ints in 2 seasons. He opted out in 2020. He is a fit for a zone scheme but needs to improve his tackling.

Round 4 Pick 110 Jamar Johnson S
The Browns should be better at safety this year with Grant Delpit back from injury and the addition of John Johnson III. Jamar Johnson was impressive vs Ohio State and would be a quality number 4 safety and special teams player for the Browns.

Round 4 Pick 132 Ambry Thomas CB
It would make sense for the Browns to pick multiple CBs. Thomas opted out in 2020. His speed and physicality could help the Browns secondary.

Round 5 Pick 169 Evan McPherson K
McPherson has a big leg and made a 53 yard FG look easy vs Texas A&M.

Round 6 Pick 211 Sadarius Hutcherson OL
The Browns should use a pick to develop an o lineman. Hutcherson has experience at RG, LG, and LT but will likely be a guard in the NFL.

Round 7 Pick 257 Simi Fehoko WR
Fehoko has a great size and speed combination but needs a lot of development. The Browns are set at WR 1-4 so they can take a WR to compete for the 5th spot.
