Beyond your usual focus on injuries, it was surprising to see a grab of NO's injury report in the analysis. Was the extra emphasis a rationalization? After all, the hurting Giants are missing 2 top receivers, are still playing musical O-linemen and lost their defensive signal-caller (Martinez) with his replacement (Crowder) questionable. Add in a diminished Barkley and the lurking danger of the Dan Jones turnover: with only 1 fumble lost and 0 INTs in 3 games, he's long overdue, and NO has the D to take it away.
Also, for good measure, NY comes off two crushing, last second losses to bad teams, and have to travel to packed SuperDome where their history is poor. With Dallas looming, the Giants could flatten out here, even at 0-3. You say you don't trust Winston, but what about Danny Dimes with his insufficient support? The franchise is in chaos, failing coaches and owner on the defensive. Not where I want my money.
