In large scale GPP's (Guaranteed Prize Pools) you really need to know when to Zig where others Zag.  The point of this article is to provide some pivots to players I believe will be highly owned.

.

QB: Mariotta
Pivot: Wentz, Cutler, Sieman

I suspect Mariotta will be the go to cheap option at QB this week.  While QB ownership is hardly ever inflated, I see all four of these players having similar upside this week.  If you can get more production at a cheaper price and reduced ownership, it sets you up for a big finish in GPP's.

RB: David Johnson
Pivot: D Murray, M Gordon, D Booker

In tournaments there is always merit to fading someone, especially someone who will have around 40-50% ownership.  If you're only making one or two line ups I wouldn't recommend fading David Johnson, however, I have no problem with it when making multiple line ups.  Lets say you make 10 line ups and expect Johnson to be 45%.  If you want to be underweight, play him in 3; on par use him in 4 or 5 and overweight use him in 8.  That way you have equity no matter what his outcome is.

Anyways, like I mentioned above, I love Murray for tournaments this week.  He is priced below Johnson, Booker, Elliot, Gordon, Ajayi and Bell when he has been just as, if not more, productive then all of those guys this year!  His spot this week is similar to Gordon's last week.  He is going to be under 5% owned and has the same upside as all of those priced above him.  I wouldn't buy into the Derrick Henry hype or his issue with his knee either.

One more guy I want to touch on is Devonte Booker.  He may lose work to K. Bibbs, but he is off the injury report and will get the first look against the Saints, which is probably all hes going to need.

WR: Mike Evans
Pivot: Antonio Brown
This could be the lowest we get Antonio Brown all year.  Priced right beneath box score maven Mike Evans, I see Brown as having similar upside as Evans, except at half the ownership.

WR: A Jeffery
Pivot: Dez Bryant, K Benjamin

People may be scared of the KC def, and look at Newton's struggles this year, but that's all the more reason to love Benjamin this week.  The few soft match ups Newton/Benjamin have had this year they have crushed.  They get another one this week, as KC has given up (I believe) the 2nd most points to opposing WR's this year.  Benjamin and Jeffery have similar upside this week, yet Benjamin's will come at a fraction of the owner ship.

The same goes for Dez Bryant.  Who is going to want to roster him after the dud he put up against Cleveland?  Not only is he a pivot against Jeffery , he is excellent leverage against Elliot.  I think Dez is in line for a monster game, and nobody is talking about him.  He is one of my favorite tournament plays this week.

That does it for my tournament Pivots.  I hope I brought some insight into your thought process for DFS this week.  Please feel free to leave a comment, hit me up on twitter or email me.  Hopefully one of us is on the top of the leader boards this weekend.  Good luck everyone and thanks for reading.
