"I can hardly wait for the Lady Gaga Halftime Show!"

This sentence has never once been uttered or even thought of by an NFL fan. EVER.

Who thought this would be a good idea?

I'd imagine it wasn't just Roger Goodell sitting at his desk with his feet up thinking,"I've got it. We'll get Lady Gaga to play the Halftime show. She's perfect. I'll give the fans what they want."

No, it was a group of people that thought this was a good idea. Several people in an NFL Thinktank got together and made the decision to approach Lady Gaga! The NFL sure knows its fanbase. 

The fanbase that is predominately males aged 24-65.

Lady Gaga's fanbase consists predominately of females aged 12-30.

I'm not in marketing, but I happen to have COMMON FREAKING SENSE!!!

Let's get the artist who calls her audience, "Little Monsters", is known for controversial performances and IS a wardrobe malfunction. What could possibly go wrong?

Just another poor decision by the NFL, who are the poster children for poor decisions lately.

Yeah, yeah, I know. You can't get a halftime show that everyone will like. You can however put on a show that most fans won't hate.

Not since Superbowl XXVI, with a halftime show that included Dorothy Hammill and Brian Freakin' Boitano doing what can only be described as a "Xmas Special for High People Only", have I ever been this disgusted.

Yes, I am dating myself. I'm a middle aged man. Get off my lawn millenial!!

The only way this is going to go over well with the average NFL fan is if she shows up to the tailgate party wearing her infamous meat dress.
