I know CFB season hasn't even started yet but, in the film I have broken down of WR's who look to enter the NFL draft after this season they don't look the part to me. Of the 20 WR's I have looked at so far theres only 3 I really like - Christian Kirk is the top dog, I see Dante Pettis as a solid #2 WR in the league and I like Calvin Ridley's potential but the jury is still out on him in my book.  Courtland Sutton looks really slow on film and I gave him a 4th to 5th round great if he were to enter this years draft and I just don't see him dominating and being as athletic as a Brandon Marshall or Mike Williams.  James Washington to me is a 1 trick pony at Oklahoma St, He just runs deep downfield and goes up and gets it, although as the season went on he did run more routes and look like a receiver in a real offense.  Allen Lazard of Iowa St is also too slow and just runs deep downfield every play. Of the 3 WR that I like Christian Kirk really sticks out.  He is very effective in the slot and has good footwork to go with solid route running ability not to mention how good of a runner he is after the catch. A wildcard in this class is Deon Cain out of Clemson, with Mike Williams gone Cain could be the next in line at Clemson. Of the bigger WR's in this class (Lazard, Sutton, Cain, Cobbs Jr) Cain is my favorite and the best athlete among them. I hope he has a breakout year and shows how talented he really is. Dante Pettis might struggle this year because theres not a WR that runs a 4.22 alongside him, but he does have a big catch radius and is a solid piece in Washington's offense that features multiple future NFL players.  Ridley had a big freshman year but didn't take that next step his soph year, A solid JR year can propel him into the top 10 in this years upcoming draft. As of right now my top 5 at WR would go Kirk - Pettis - Ridley - Cain - St. Brown. I didn't even get into St. Brown but he has the potential to be a special WR at Notre Dame just a few flaws he needs to work on. A team who any of these top 5 WR would fit with is the Bills, with Kirk in the slot and Jones/Watkins on the outside and Tyrod Taylor airing it out this would be a very dangerous offense. If you liked my rant on the 2018 WR class go ahead and follow me on twitter @CollegeFB_Film were I talk about individual players and there strengths and weaknesses. Thank You!
