This team is in a prime place to breakout with NFL-high 120 million of cap space and a staff that already improved the team in 2017.

Free Agency:

Jimmy G - QB - 4,5 Stars - They just have to retain him, with quality performances and this cap space.

Carlos Hyde - RB and Eric Reid - SS - 3 Stars - Both could come back as they are good players.

David Irving - DT - 4,5 Stars - This would be a very important signing to complete a dominant DL. Irving was just dominant.

Sammy Watkins - WR - 3,5 Stars - Young, explosive, talented. The caliber of reciever that they need.

Matt Paradis - C - 3,5 Stars - A better center is needed.

Rashaan Melvin - CB - 3,5 Stars - He was good last season and comes to improve the rotation.

Anthony Hitchens - LB - 2,5 Stars - Improve the depth.

NFL Draft:

Biggest needs remaining : CB,LB,G

Picks:

1st round - 9/10th - coin flip

2nd round - 27th - former pick was sent to Patriots in exchange of Jimmy G

3rd round - 6th and 10/11th

So it is 4 picks in the first 96 excluding consolaton picks that aren't decided yet.

1st round - Trade back with Washington (13th)- Joshua Jackson - CB - Iowa

If Quenton Nelson or Roquan Smith are available they will go to San Francisco, but in my mock Nelson goes in the 5th to Broncos and Smith would be a nice fit in Oakland. So they move back to get a 3rd and maybe a 5th. Jackson had a very good season to be considered the best CB of the class and 49ers needs a no 1 corner.

2nd round - Move up 10 picks - Will Hernandez - G - UTEP

The use their 27th second and 6th third to move up. Guard is a big need and Hernandez has been getting praise from scouts and should be a good starter.

3rd round(10;11th) - Jeff Holland - LB/DE - Auburn

Talent to complement Reuben Foster is needed., but he also can be used on the edge rusher depth. So he could be a nice rotation/development player.

3rd round (14th)- from Washington - Ronald Jones II(USC), Royce Freeman(Oregon) or Rashaad Penny(San Diego State)- RB

To complete the biggest offseason moves, they hope that the can find Alvin Kamara 2.0 to compete with Hyde and be a difference maker in this team.

It think that with this moves the 2018 San Francisco 49ers should be able to be a very competitive team. Please rate and comment. Hope you enjoyed and greetings from Brazil.
