Carolina Panthers: Justin Boren, G, Ohio State
Cam Newton was able to get out of trouble rather easily at Auburn. In the NFL, he is going to need protection from the offensive line. Injuries really hurt this group in 2010 and helped ruin Jimmy Clausen's rookie season.
Cincinnati Bengals: Stephen Schilling, G, Michigan
Apparent first-round bust Andre Smith has been discussed as a possibility inside at guard. If not, the Bengals might seek help in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Cleveland Browns: Jacquizz Rodgers, RB, Oregon State
I am predicting Peyton Hillis beats Michael Vick to appear on the cover of Madden 12. When the curse sets in, the Browns will be in need of someone else to carry the football.

Enter Jacquizz Rodgers, who drops down the board because he is not tall enough to ride roller coasters, but somehow proved incredibly durable in college. He is a potential gem.
Buffalo Bills: Brandon Hogan, CB, West Virginia
Drayton Florence might be exiting. and the Bills are on the lookout for a nickel option.
Cleveland Browns: Shiloh Keo, SS, Idaho
Cleveland acquired this selection from Denver for Brady Quinn.

It was really entertaining to watch Shiloh Keo on NFL Network's coverage of the Combine. He is the type of player fans root for. This is not a very practical pick in terms of him projecting as a starter, but I think he can find a way to contribute.
Arizona Cardinals: Brandon Bair, DE, Oregon
Up front, Kenny Iwebema's return from an ACL injury is iffy. The bigger need might be for a backup nose tackle assuming Dan Williams is their starter because Bryan Robinson could retire and Gabe Watson could also be out. Either way they need help up front, and I like Brandon Bair's potential.
Minnesota Vikings: Niles Paul, WR, Nebraska
The Vikings have to at least consider the possibility of losing Sidney Rice in free agency by securing some help at wide receiver.
Seattle Seahawks: Stanley Havili, FB, USC
Seattle acquired this pick from Detroit for Lawrence Jackson.

Well, this is just great. I copped to stealing a different pick from Walt's 2011 NFL Mock Draft. In this case, it was a coincidence.

It is easy to connect the dots here though. Pete Carroll knows what he is getting with Stanley Havili after coaching him at USC, and the Seahawks need a fullback.
San Francisco 49ers: Kai Forbath, K, UCLA
San Francisco acquired this pick from Seattle for Kentwan Balmer.

Joe Nedney has kicked for seven different teams and scored 1,113 points during his career. I think this is the end of the road. In other cases, I intentionally gave new head coach Jim Harbaugh a player from the Pac-10 (yes I still call it that until actual games are played in the Pac-12) but in this case it is just a coincidence.
Tennessee Titans: Zane Taylor, C, Utah
Eugene Amano was not up to the task at center, and the Titans have still not been able to replace Kevin Mawae.
Dallas Cowboys: Cecil Shorts, WR, Mount Union
I thought before the 2010 season started that the Cowboys might part ways with Roy Williams because he is overpaid. Combined with Dez Bryant's antics this offseason, I would say they are in the market for another wide receiver.
Washington Redskins: Stevan Ridley, RB, LSU
Mike Shanahan is always on the lookout for a running back in the late rounds. Clinton Portis will be missed, and while there are other options on the roster, none of them are very reliable. Maybe they go back to the LSU well where they signed Keiland Williams as a free agent.
Houston Texans: Raymond Webber, WR, Arkansas-Pine Bluff
Eventually age is going to catch up to Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter, who are nearing 30, while Jacoby Jones is a possible free agency casualty. A lot of teams are sniffing around Raymond Webber so he could be taken in the sixth or seventh round.
Miami Dolphins: Darren Evans, RB, Virginia Tech
The Dolphins are rumored to be going after DeAngelo Williams in free agency. Even if they secure his services, a player to pair with him is needed.
Baltimore Ravens: Mark LeGree, FS, Appalachian State
Ed Reed is closing in on retirement and the Ravens are going to need safety help. This is about supporting the depth chart; not Mark LeGree filling the void of a guy bound for the Hall of Fame.
Oakland Raiders: Marc Schiechl, OLB, Colorado School of Mines
The Raiders are by no means set at outside linebacker. A handful of teams have poked at Marc Schiechl, and he could be drafted if teams decide not to wait until free agency.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Colin Baxter, C, Arizona
Brad Meester is eyeing retirement and the Jaguars are on the lookout for a successor.
San Diego Chargers: Jonathan Cornell, ILB, Mississippi
Several free agents at inside linebacker for the Chargers to seek alternatives in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Arizona Cardinals: Vincent Brown, WR, San Diego State
Steve Breaston is not under contract and the Cardinals could be on the lookout for another receiver their quarterbacks can't get the ball to.
New York Giants: Will Hill, FS, Florida
The Giants have not gotten enough bang for their buck out of Antrel Rolle and could be looking for help at free safety, which explains their interest in Will Hill.
Denver Broncos: Charles Clay, TE, Tulsa
Josh McDaniels left this roster in disarray. They need help everywhere. They've taken a look at Charles Clay.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Cortez Allen, CB, Citadel
Tampa Bay acquired this pick from Kansas City in the Alex Magee trade.

If the Buccaneers anticipate the worst out of the Aqib Talib situation they might take a second cornerback late in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Indianapolis Colts: Matt Murphy, G, UNLV
Right guard is a problem for the Colts, and Matt Murphy is a player they are looking at.
Denver Broncos: Da'Norris Searcy, SS, North Carolina
Denver acquired this pick from New England in the Laurence Maroney trade.

The Broncos could use help at virtually every position and could seek to add two safeties in the 2011 NFL Draft.
San Francisco 49ers: Thomas Keiser, DE/OLB, Stanford
Jim Harbaugh turns to one of his former players to help boost the poor pass rush of the 49ers.
Baltimore Ravens: Keith Darbut, OLB, Baldwin-Wallace
A handful of teams are thinning about Keith Darbut, including the Ravens. I would like to have given them an outside linebacker earlier, but Darbut is a fast option for them on Day 3.
Atlanta Falcons: Terrance Toliver, WR, LSU
The Falcons need multiple additions at wide receiver to help draw defenses away from Roddy White.
New England Patriots: Cedric Thornton, DE/DT, Southern Arkansas
At this point, I wish I could give the Patriots a ball boy or someone to sell snacks at halftime. There is really nothing else they need, and this is a second option up front.
New York Jets: Eric Hagg, FS, Nebraska
It is possible the Jets are looking at Eric Hagg as a player who can help them out if Jim Leonhard gets injured again.
Chicago Bears: Brian Rolle, ILB, Ohio State
As with Lance Briggs, middle linebacker Brian Urlacher is staring down Father Time who is undefeated when it comes to eventually ending careers.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Jarriel King, OT/G, South Carolina
The Steelers get more help on the offensive line here and they need it.
Green Bay Packers: Ryan Taylor, FB/TE, North Carolina
I could actually see this move happening if the team does not select a rushing option earlier in the draft so we will see how that works out, but they do have interest in Ryan Taylor.
New York Giants: Ronald Johnson, WR, USC
Steve Smith's knee injury could linger so the Giants might take another former Trojan to help fill the void unless Plaxico Burress is in shape enough to be a serious consideration to rejoin the team.
Kansas City Chiefs: Pat Devlin, QB, Delaware
Matt Cassel was not good in the playoff loss to the Ravens and the Chiefs do not have a backup plan, which explains their interest in Pat Devlin.
Minnesota Vikings: Scott Lutrus, ILB, Connecticut
E.J. Henderson was able to return from injury and last the season, but turns 31 in August. It would be wise for the Vikings to look at a possible successor.
San Diego Chargers: Noel Devine, RB, West Virginia
Darren Sproles, who once was handed their franchise tag, is not expected back. The Chargers can look for a speedy smaller back late in the 2011 NFL Draft to join Ryan Mathews and Mike Tolbert in the backfield.
New York Giants: Tommy Irvin, SS, Wofford
The Giants add another late-round secondary. They are stuck in a division with the Eagles, and bolstering the secondary is a defensible strategy.
Carolina Panthers: Johnny White, RB, North Carolina
It has become a bit of an inside joke with me projecting former Tar Heels to the Panthers, so I have done it again here. DeAngelo Williams is probably taking his talents to South Beach as a free agent, and Johnny White gives them a player to team up with Jonathan Stewart and Mike Goodson in the backfield.
