2012 NFL Mock Re-Draft: Round 5

This is a 2012 NFL Mock Re-Draft of Rounds 4 and 5 for Saturday's NFL Draft coverage. With all of the trades that will go down, I don't expect to get many of these right, but it's still fun to speculate where the top prospects will go on Day 3 of the 2012 NFL Draft.

136. Indianapolis Colts: Chris Greenwood, CB, Albion
     If you watched any Colt games last year, you know how badly they need help at cornerback.
     
     
     
137. Denver Broncos: Nick Toon, WR, Wisconsin
     Peyton Manning needs someone to throw to besides Demaryius Thomas.
     
     
138. Minnesota Vikings: Joe Adams, WR/KR, Arkansas
     As I wrote in the last round, the Vikings could double up on receivers early on Day 3.
     
     
139. Minnesota Vikings: D.J. Campbell, S, California
     Yet another defensive back for the Vikings, who need all the help they can get in that area.
     
     
140. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Chase Minnifield, CB/KR, Virginia
     It's a major surprise that the Buccaneers have yet to address the cornerback position. It's their greatest need.
     
     
141. Washington Redskins: Philip Thomas, S, Syracuse
     The Redskins aren't actually planning to go into the 2012 season with Brandon Meriweather and Reed Doughty at safety, are they?
     
     
142. Jacksonville Jaguars: Leonard Johnson, CB, Iowa State
     Another Florida team has surprisingly ignored the cornerback position up until now.
     
     
143. Carolina Panthers: Marvin Jones, WR, California
     The Panthers have to find another weapon for Cam Newton at some point.
     
     
     
     
     
144. Buffalo Bills: Kirk Cousins, QB, Michigan State
     The Bills will probably be looking for a developmental quarterback in the middle rounds of the 2012 NFL Draft.
     
     
145. Miami Dolphins: Tommy Streeter, WR, Miami
     The Dolphins didn't address the receiver position early, so they could double up on Day 3.
     
     
146. Kansas City Chiefs: Nicolas Jean-Baptiste, NT, Baylor
     Despite drafting Dontari Poe, the Chiefs will still consider Nicolas Jean-Baptiste as someone who could give them depth up front.
     
     
147. Buffalo Bills: Cam Johnson, DE, Virginia
     The Bills signed Mario Williams and Mark Anderson, but they could still use depth at defensive end.
     
     
148. Oakland Raiders: Coryell Judie, CB, Texas A&M
     The Raiders just lost Stanford Routt and Chris Johnson, so they'll have to replenish depth. Listing Shawntae Spencer as a starter is pretty sad.
     
     
149. San Diego Chargers: Brad Smelley, TE, Alabama
     Will Antonio Gates ever last an entire season? It's highly likely that Gates will suffer some sort of malady next year, so here's some insurance.
     
     
150. St. Louis Rams: James-Michael Johnson, ILB, Nevada
     The Rams are really thin at linebacker. Multiple picks will have to be used on depth.
     
     
151. Arizona Cardinals: Matt Conrath, DE/DT, Virginia
     The Cardinals don't really have any depth behind Calais Campbell and Darnell Dockett.
     
     
152. Dallas Cowboys: Jeff Fuller, WR, Texas A&M
     The Cowboys lost Laurent Robinson this offseason, so they'll have to find a new receiver.
     
     
153. Philadelphia Eagles: Levy Adcock, OT, Oklahoma State
     The Eagles signed Demetress Bell as insurance for Jason Peters, but that was essentially a 1-year contract. They should probably spend a pick on a developmental tackle just in case Bell busts and Peters can't return to form.
     
     
154. New York Jets: Trevin Wade, CB, Arizona
     The Jets need to counter the Patriots and all of their new receivers by bringing in some cornerback help. The corner position is really thin for New York; the team has nothing behind Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Kyle Wilson because Donald Strickland is gone.
     
     
155. Tennessee Titans: Ben Jones, C, Georgia
     The Titans signed Steve Hutchinson, but they still need upgrades at right guard and center to maximize Chris Johnson's potential.
     
     
     
     
     
156. Cincinnati Bengals: Janzen Jackson, S, McNeese State
     No one should be surprised if the Bengals pick Janzen Jackson in the middle rounds. He'd fill a huge need.
     
     
157. Atlanta Falcons: Kourtnei Brown, DE, Clemson
     John Abraham will be 34 soon, while Ray Edwards was disappointing in his first year as a Falcon. Help at defensive end is needed.
     
     
158. Detroit Lions: Travis Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma
     The Lions can stick with their "best player available" strategy with Travis Lewis.
     
     
159. Pittsburgh Steelers: Greg Childs, WR, Arkansas
     The Steelers could lose Mike Wallace after this season, so here's some insurance.
     
     
160. Cleveland Browns: Josh Kaddu, DE/OLB, Oregon
     Depending on where the Browns want to use Josh Kaddu, they'll get a third linebacker or another pass-rusher.
     
     
161. Houston Texans: Kelcie McCray, S, Arkansas State
     The Texans may think about bringing in competition for Glover Quin.
     
     
162. New Orleans Saints: Jarius Wright, WR, Arkansas
     The Saints lost Robert Meachem to the Chargers, so they may look at a receiver with one of their mid-round picks.
     
     
163. New England Patriots: Markelle Martin, S, Oklahoma State
     Bill Belichick can't seriously be considering starting Steven Gregory at safety. He almost has to draft someone at that position.
     
     
     
     
     
164. Atlanta Falcons: Taylor Thompson, TE, SMU
     The Falcons will probably find a successor for Tony Gonzalez sometime this offseason. Ladarius Green is a good fit in this spot.
     
     
165. San Francisco 49ers: Miles Burris, DE/OLB, San Diego State
     You can never have enough pass-rushers. The 49ers like Miles Burris as a late-round prospect.
     
     
166. Cincinnati Bengals: Dwight Jones, WR, North Carolina
     Considering their depth issues, the Bengals could easily draft two receivers this April. Dwight Jones has character concerns, but Cincinnati won't mind that.
     
     
167. Cincinnati Bengals: Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska
     The Bengals could draft multiple cornerbacks this April. Do I need to tell you why they'd be interested in Alfonzo Dennard?
     
     
168. Oakland Raiders: Jack Crawford, DE, Penn State
     The Raiders lost two pass-rushers this offseason in Kamerion Wimbley and Trevor Scott. They'll need replacements.
     
     
169. Baltimore Ravens: Gino Gradkowski, G/C, Delaware
     The Ravens need interior line help because Matt Birk won't be playing much longer.
     
     
170. Indianapolis Colts: Jonathan Massaquoi, DE/OLB, Troy
     The Colts need some linebacker depth for their new 3-4 defense, both on the interior and exterior.
