-
New York Giants: Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma
One area the Giants neglected in the 2013 NFL Draft that I thought they should have addressed was the cornerback position. Corey Webster is starting, which is not good news based on how frequently he was torched this past season.
Aaron Colvin, who had 11 pass break-ups in 2012, is a tall cornerback - something that is very much in vogue now based on what Seattle has done.

Pick change; previously Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB
-
Kansas City Chiefs: James Hurst, OT, North Carolina
The Chiefs just spent the No. 1 overall pick on Eric Fisher, but they'll need a bookend for him once Branden Albert moves on. If you don't think Kansas City would draft two consecutive offensive tackles with its first-round picks, well, remember who's making the decisions now.
-
Detroit Lions: Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama
It's no secret that the Lions have major issues at offensive tackle. Riley Reiff has done a solid job thus far at left tackle, but the team has had issues blocking on the right side.
Pick change; previously Antonio Richardson, OT
-
Chicago Bears: Jason Verrett, CB, TCU
The Bears will have to address their two cornerback positions next offseason, as Charles Tillman and Tim Jennings both have expiring contracts.
Pick change; previously Antonio Richardson, OT
-
Dallas Cowboys: Anthony Johnson, DT, LSU
I have no idea what the Cowboys were thinking when they passed on Sharrif Floyd at No. 18 overall. Moving down and then selecting a third-round center made it clearer than ever that they need a real general manager. In the meantime, Jerry Jones will continue to run the team into the ground.
Perhaps Jones will suddenly realize that Dallas has a glaring need on the interior of its defensive front. Anthony Johnson would be a nice fit as Monte Kiffin's three-technique - just as Floyd would have been.
Pick change; previously Aaron Lynch, DE
-
Miami Dolphins: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon
The Dolphins need help at cornerback. Brent Grimes, coming off a torn Achilles, is just a short-term solution. Dimitri Patterson shouldn't be a No. 2 corner despite his interceptions against Cleveland (one bounced right into his hands off Greg Little). Miami drafted some young corners in April, but none of them have stepped up.
Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, a third-team All-American, intercepted four passes and had 16 pass break-ups as a sophomore.
Pick change; previously Jason Verrett, CB
-
Baltimore Ravens: Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt
It should be quite apparent that the Ravens desperately need help at receiver after what happened in the opener. Neither Jacoby Jones nor Marlon Brown should be a No. 2 wideout in the NFL. Think Baltimore misses Anquan Boldin?
-
Atlanta Falcons: Aaron Lynch, DE, South Florida
Kroy Biermann is out for the year, but he was already playing linebacker in Atlanta's defense. The Falcons need some pass-rushing help. They have just two sacks in two games.
Pick change; previously Anthony Johnson, DT
-
New England Patriots: Ra'shede Hageman, DE/DT, Minnesota
Bill Belichick loves size in his defensive linemen. Ra'shede Hageman fits the bill at 6-6, 310. The Patriots could definitely stand to upgrade the interior of their defensive line.
-
Cincinnati Bengals: Scott Crichton, DE, Oregon State
The Bengals drafted Margus Hunt, but they have Michael Johnson hitting free agency soon. With Carlos Dunlap recently extended, it's very unlikely that Johnson will be retained.
-
New Orleans Saints: Kyle Van Noy, DE/OLB, BYU
The Saints had several holes to fill in the 2013 NFL Draft, so they weren't able to obtain a pass-rusher until the sixth round with Rufus Johnson. They'll probably need to do so earlier next April.
I wanted to slot Kyle Van Noy around the 16th pick, but couldn't find a spot for him. Van Noy logged 13 sacks in 2012. He was espcially hot down the stretch, recording 5.5 sacks in his final three games.
-
Green Bay Packers: C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama
The Packers released Desmond Bishop in the offseason. On top of that, the rapidly aging A.J. Hawk will have an expiring contract soon. Ted Thompson will have to address the inside linebacker position in the near future.
Pick change; previously A.J. Johnson, ILB
-
Houston Texans: A.J. Johnson, ILB, Tennessee
The Texans really wanted to add some inside linebackers in the 2013 NFL Draft, but never got around to it (Arthur Brown was snagged off the board right before they picked in Round 2). They remain pretty thin at the position.
Pick change; previously C.J. Mosley, ILB
-
San Francisco 49ers: Dominique Easley, DE, Florida
Dominique Easley has been dominant this season. I wanted to slot him earlier, but couldn't find a good fit for him. The 49ers won't mind, as they can use him as a successor for Justin Smith.
Pick change; previously Justin Gilbert, CB
-
Denver Broncos: Christian Jones, LB, Florida State
The Broncos don't have a real middle linebacker. Wesley Woodyard has been playing in that spot, but he would be better served at the weakside position.
-
Seattle Seahawks: Adrian Hubbard, DE/OLB, Alabama
The Seahawks signed Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril this offseason, but both were inked to short-term deals. Seattle will have to find a long-term successor for Chris Clemons.
Pick change; previously Trent Murphy, DE/OLB
