2012 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Terrence Ross
Position: Shooting Guard
Size: 6-6, 195
School: Washington, Sophomore
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Summary: Due to his athleticism, ability to shoot the rock and ideal size for an NBA shooting guard, Ross is a late lottery prospect. This is first year of being a go-to player at Washington after coming off the bench last season, so there is still plenty of room for Ross to grow his game.
Player Comparison: Nick Young. Young is nothing more than a scorer in the NBA who really doesn't contribute in many other areas of the game. Ross has the potential to be a more well-rounded player but makes his biggest impact at Washington scoring the basketball. Both guys are capable of stroking it from deep, but Young is more dangerous off the bounce than Ross.
