Cleveland needs to KEEP Terrelle Pryor

All of the rumors right now are pointing toward Cleveland letting Pryor go in free agency. I cannot stress how phenomenally stupid that would be. There are so many reasons to keep Pryor. SO MANY REASONS. I'll list them. 

1. He's got a close relationship with and loyalty to Hue Jackson. They were together in Oakland and Jackson has consistently supported Pryor and helped him make the move to WR. 

2. Pryor is a phenomenal athlete who has made the switch from QB to WR for the first time as an NFL player. If that doesn't speak to his athleticism, I don't know what does. 

3. He's durable and tough. He played in all 16 games and started in 15 last year, including playing through injuries.

4. He's got a great attitude. He's not a trouble maker (looking at you Josh Gordon, Johnny Manziel) and he was, in fact, the lone bright spot for Cleveland's offense last year. He was a consistent positive presence in the locker room and on the field, exhibiting optimism and intense effort all season long. 

5. He's a prototypical HT-WT-SP WR1. 6'4" 230 3.38 40 time. Good hands. Deep ball threat and sturdy over the middle.

6. He's young. He turns 28 in June. 

7. He has proven production. Pryor had over 1,000 yards last season DESPITE being thrown the ball from 7 different QBs. 

8. Cleveland has no one to replace him with. I like Corey Coleman a lot but he's going to benefit from having Pryor opposite him so that Coleman doesn't get double covered. Pryor as WR1 and Coleman as WR2 is going to yield much better stats for both of them. Also, Cleveland has let their only other veteran wideout go as Andrew Hawkins is out. Ricardo Louis is a big-bodied receiver but he dropped passes all the time last year. He's not an adequate replacement for Pryor. 

9. Cleveland has the most cap space this offseason. Sign and pay a man who has already expressed his desire to be with an organization widely viewed as the most depressing and hopeless in pro football. 

Try and convince me Cleveland shouldn't keep Pryor. You just can't.
