I am a bit confused about the Lions take.. From what I see, they haven't lost anything in the coordinator sacrifice, The Chiefs have lost to good and bad teams already.

I dont think any logical bettor is considering week 1 or 2 even in their strength evaluation in 2025.

The Chiefs might just be bad. The Jags definitely are not good. 4-1 so be it, but they played the reverse Ravens schedule minus the injuries. Luckily for them their division is a weird ass incest dumpster fire and they might actually win it.

Walt is obsessed with "losing coordinators" even though Dan Campbell clearly has proven that it's irrelevant for a top 3 coach in the league. The entire year has been about how bad Detroit was going to regress and he thought he was right after Week 1 and had to eat his words the last 4 weeks. Now it's about discrediting the opponents they've played. Once Det beats KC there will be another reason as to why I'm sure. @jmacphee9

Keon Coleman in R2 would be prob the steal of the draft IMO. I think he is better then JSN/Zay from last year and getting round 2 value. Significantly better then Quentin Johnston at 21 last year.

I am just confused why Lions are 7 while you have been hyping them all off season, their only loss was while getting players tossed in the garbage on the fly, and they follow it up with three dominate 10+ point wins.

Following the cowboys getting blown the fuck out, bills loss, Ravens being the ravens.. Just dont get why 3 3-2 teams would be ahead of Detroit in your rankings based of 12 years of following this site. Not overly important but confusing.

I see the best teams in the NFL as starting to separate from each other.

NFC: 49ers, eagles, lions

AFC: Chiefs, Bills, and ill leave a spot for the Bengals if they confirm they took week 1-4 off.

@jmacphee9

Completely agree on SF/PHI/DET separating from the NFC pack. Beyond those three teams, the NFC is a clusterf*ck of mediocrity.

Also agree on giving CIN the benefit of the doubt in the AFC. I think 10-7 or even 11-6 is doable for the Bengals. They could be a tougher out than BUF come playoff time. The injury bug is eating the Bills alive.

DET is absolutely better than DAL. Seeing CLE ahead of PHI is also jarring. I get that the Browns are solid on defense and at O-line, but there's been little indication that acquiring Watson isn't going to blow up in their face.
