Nobody gets up to play the jets. Is why they look like they’re sticking around. The bungles on the other hand are on a high and they just might feast on a team since they’re so desperate to win.

And oh yeah - Sauce Gardner is likely OUT with a concussion. Another Ja'Marr Chase eruption incoming.

@Baird

The CIN victory over PIT definitely felt like a springboard game. Maybe even kept Hendrickson in Cincy. I don't anticipate Flacco keeping it up and saving CIN's season, but there's no reason why they shouldn't TCB vs. my Jets. The Jets are a hot mess, and Tyrod Taylor might be playing hurt if he starts.

I know it's early, but Aaron Glenn already has a good coordinator/bad head coach vibe.

@scaredmoney - I agree completely. Flacco hitting Chase for like 14-16 passes? + Higgins getting the game clinching pass must be a wake up call for every Bengals player... "hey, we have a chance"

I think they all get up & give 100% this week with their win over div rival/leader PIT last week & a new found hope. The home field crowd should help.

I'm teasing Cin -0.5 a bunch

So if you’re so sick and tired of the international games, why post?

see my previous post for motivation by the big chalk.

First, the Packers were sleepwalking. Do you really think the pack is going to get up to face an abysmal team like the bungles.

Is it possible the vikes trade for 6, then parlay that to 3 if wash takes Daniels. 4&5 don’t need qbs then the pats could get jj plus. What do the vikes have to offer to go from 6 to 3

If it’s even, what would be the motivation for ny? From what I hear is the vikes may do well by taking penix jr at 11. Outside of the top 3, it seems everyone has a different take. Can caleb take a hit? Can he get rid of the ball in a hurry, accurately? Nothing is guaranteed.

Are the vikes going to throw everything at the chargers to land jj. Both firsts and maybe a second, or more?

@Mr. Bitter

I agree about Jones, but they aren't going to dig themselves out of that ridiculous contract with him.

Also, I think a good principle for GMs to follow is that if you think another team ahead of you in the draft will draft a player you really want, forget about trading with them and go to Plan B.  Doing so is the classic walking into a car dealership and screaming, "I have to have that blue Hyundai right now and I'm willing to pay anything for it!  Another customer MIGHT want it?  I'll pay double!"  The GM should calm the F down and know that there are other blue Hyundais.

@jtrapp1962

It's hard to say with the Giants and McCarthy. I tend to agree that they won't draft him because Schoen/Daboll probably don't have a long enough leash for a reset, but at the same time Daniel Jones really sucks. I could see the Giants falling in love with McCarthy's leadership/flashes, but odds are good that his NFL ceiling is basically Daniel Jones. I find it interesting that a bunch of "Giants love McCarthy" reports came out immediately after the MIN trade was announced. Do the Giants REALLY love McCarthy or is it just, "Yeah yeah yeah - come on Vikings, trade ahead of us for McCarthy so Malik Nabers falls into our lap"?

Still think MIN would trade up for McCarthy if they're sold on him. Maybe even at #4. DEN's QB situation is just as dire and they may want to move up too.

@scaredmoney I don't think the Giants will draft him, so why pay a huge price?  They can just draft him at 11.  If not, there are plenty of bridge QBs out there for cheap.  Just build your team and get your QB later.

I hear the Steelers might think Fields or gasp Wilson. Could be a Wilson Pickett in the midnight hour.

Terrific analysis. The lions oline- are they banged up? And I don’t think Purdy will be off as much as last week, and after last year, I think he might be very hungry.

Probably all wet, but if I was C.J. and someone else was picked ahead of me, and I got the chance to go up against him, I’d be extra pumped.

I watched a poker tournament once, the guy that won drew a pair of aces every hand in the finals, while the guy that lost drew duece seven off suit. I’ve won thousands reading and following your advice and I’ve come to the following conclusion…..
