What if neither the Cardinals nor the Raiders want to draft a QB in the top 5? There could be a small run on defenders until a team gives in and trades up for their QB of choice. Feel free to comment! This is my second first-round mock draft this year.

2019 1st Round Mock Draft with Trades.

Rather than going with who has been rumored to be connected to teams, I've tried to figure out what each team should do with their picks and trades. Let me know what you think! Especially if you have a good perspective about a specific team. Just a one-round mock draft.

Enough trades to make things interesting and be relatively realistic. Let me know what you think of my picks. Feel free to comment or rate, thanks! Just one round this time, for the mock draft contest.

Feel free to rate and/or comment on your team or players you're most familiar with. This mock draft is updated for the most notable FA signings as well as combine aftermath. Two rounds mocked with teams updated to reflect traded picks in rounds 3 and 4. Plenty of trades, especially in round one, but not exactly the same trades/compensation as what others project. Also, this mock draft plays out the situation of multiple teams competing to trade up for the top few QB's, hence the top QB's going early. I think it's a plausible and maybe likely situation that the top 3 QB's could come off the board before anyone else.

Post-combine, first week of FA. Feel free to comment or rate. It's tricky and less exciting projecting teams not trading, but the reality will be somewhere between a flurry of trades like other mocks show and few/no trades, as shown here or other places. Just the first round in this mock for now; see my other mock with trades (post-combine including FA) for a two-round mock with similar picks and thinking.

This draft is updated a bit from my last one, with a different-looking top 5 and includes the Bills/Bengals trade. Kirk Cousins is gone to the Vikings, Keenum to the Broncos, Bradford to the Cardinals, and McCown to the Jets. Feel free to comment on your team or players you're familiar with. First two rounds are complete. 3rd and 4th rounds only include teams/draft order, with special notes for picks that switched hands in my mock draft.

I project in this mock draft that Kirk Cousins is going to the Minnesota Vikings. It's very crucial where Kirk Cousins goes, since he's pretty much the only FA QB who will stop a team from drafting a first-rounder behind him. Other teams who sign FA QBs could still draft a rookie, as few/none are proven long-term answers. Feel free to comment on your team or players you know more.
