Round 1

Picks 17-31
17. Steelers: Anton Harrison, OT, Oklahoma

It feels like we started round 2. Torrence was a option here as well. They need immediate line help and don’t usually pay for it

18. Titans: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

Needs at QB, OL,WR and front seven. Feels like a sexy BPA approach. I actually have him as the top WR

19. Buccaneers: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida

Like the Commanders, he can replace Trask by the second half of week 1. I think he’d be a top 3 pick if he seasoned another year in Florida

20. Seahawks: Bryan Bresee, DT, Clemson

I think he’ll be ok on passing downs but they will need a run stuffer either later or through FA. Top HS recruit certainly didn’t live up to it.

21. Chargers: Mazi Smith, DT, Michigan

I’ve seen him this high or as low as the 50’s. The Chargers need help neutralizing the run and he is the best the draft has to offer. Not very sexy but fills a need.

22. Ravens: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

It feels low for him as I think he is the same as the 2 drafted well earlier. Baltimore should feel lucky

23. Bengals: Tyler Steen, OT, Alabama

Picks 28, 92 and 2024 5. With so many FA’s and extensions up coming they can’t afford to sign another FA tackle/OL help. Slight overpay. I think Torrence or Duncan would have worked too.

24. Jaguars: Jaelyn Duncan, OT, Maryland

I really would have liked Mayer here but maybe Washington in the 2nd. Always nice to a have the 2 TE situation. Duncan fills a huge need on the cheap.

25. Giants: Drew Sanders, LB, Arkansas

WR, CB, LB. They need two of each. Sanders is a decent start. FA money to spend will go quick if they franchise/keep both Jones and Barkley

26. Bengals: O'Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida

Higgins to Cowboys for 26, 128 and 2024 4. I think they finished addressing the line.

27. Bears: Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas

Picks 54, 64 and 2024 4th. Bears have the makings of a great 2 year plan.

28. Vikings: Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina

Injuries to both their young secondary players hurt. Maybe this pick could land Ramsey instead?

29. Saints: Calijah Kancey, DT, Pittsburgh

He seems like a great fit and steal. They are losing so much on the DL this year and Jordan isn’t elite anymore

30. Eagles: Isaiah Foskey, DE, Notre Dame

I can see them trading out here with similar DE’s available. They are going to have to replace a lot of starters with at minimum useful depth.

31. Chiefs: Keion White, DE/OLB, Georgia Tech

I think Mahomes is good enough to wait on WR. OT is a draft need. I have a feeling Frank Clark will need to be replaced if he doesn’t restructure. White may take some time too
