Round 1
This isn't the biggest need for the Steelers, but they can use the rest of the draft to focus on those. When you have a chance to make your QB as happy as this would make Pickett and create a receiver group as dangerous as this one would be, you have to at least consider taking it.
In a great tight end class the first one comes off the board. Mayer has been highly touted for many years and the Lions certainly need a tight end.
The Bucs cut Donovan Smith so they need a blindside protector if they're going to give Baker, or Trask for that matter, a chance.
Another pick on the defense, this time a pass rusher, and Seattle is starting to look pretty dangerous.
Another tackle in the first round (and spoiler alert the last one) but the Chargers need to upgrade the right tackle and here's a 6'8" 360 pounder with the longest wingspan ever measured. Now the line looks complete.
I'm going to assume Lamar comes back and that Baltimore would like to give a shred of effort to make him happy. They have a couple options to throw to, but adding a top guy like JSN would help significantly.
Minnesota needs somebody to take some eyes off of JJ, and Johnston is a big play guy who will need some attention of his own.
There's a few ways to go here, but in today's game corner is one of the first places you look to build, the Jags need to improve there, and this class at CB is quite good.
Simpson is someone who can help guard tight ends and can quickly track down ball carriers behind this good defensive line.
He's a safe and crafty receiver that would be great for Dallas as one last weapon to make for a very dangerous offense.
The Bills have had problems stopping the run, but adding a big and athletic lineman like Bresee could help.
After both safeties left, adding one would be in the best interest of the Bengals. They signed Nick Scott and drafted Dax Hill last year, but with the versatility of Branch and Hill to move around or just be the safeties, this would solidify the backfield of an already deep team.
Murphy could go really high, but I think he just might fall. He just kept falling in this mock and New Orleans picks him up.
Another fall, only because of positional value. I think someone might end up trading up for him or just pulling the trigger on him higher than this, but with not that many teams looking for a running back, and not wanting to pay the price of a first rounder for one, Robinson just kind of ended up here.
I know there are more well known guys available, but this is a good player who showed up to the combine and ran a 4.49 at 282 pounds. He could be a DT next to Chris Jones, he could be lined up on the edge, and he has done both. KC could use both so it just fits.
