Next update: Live 2010 NFL Draft Grades minutes after all 255 picks!

This order is based on the official 7-Round 2010 NFL Draft Order and the NFL Strength of Schedule.

  1. St. Louis Rams: Al Woods, DT, LSU
Adam Carriker was just traded away to the Redskins, so the Rams will need to add some depth to their defensive front line.

  2. Atlanta Falcons: Leigh Tiffin, K, Alabama
Kicker No. 2 is off the board. With Jason Elam gone, all the Falcons have is the fossilized Matt Bryant.

  3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Zoltan Mesko, P, Michigan
Two special-teamers in a row. How fun! The Buccaneers cut Josh Bidwell and need help at punter.

  4. Miami Dolphins: Eric Olsen, C, Notre Dame
Jake Grove is a good center, but he has missed 21 games the past three years. He's not a reliable player.

  5. Miami Dolphins: George Selvie, DE/OLB, South Florida
One can only wonder what the Dolphins plan to do with their armada of sixth-round picks. Unless Miami can re-sign Jason Taylor, I think it will double dip at rush linebacker in the 2010 NFL Draft - just like it did at wideout last year.

  6. Carolina Panthers: Dan LeFevour, QB, Central Michigan
The Panthers will probably be searching for a late-round quarterback as a developmental project behind Matt Moore.

  7. Seattle Seahawks: Mike Neal, DT, Purdue
Defensive tackle is one of the many positions the Seahawks must upgrade via the 2010 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Corey Peters, DT

  8. Cleveland Browns: Jeff Byers, C/G, USC
The Browns lost both Hank Fraley and Rex Hadnot this offseason, so offensive line depth must be replenished.

  9. Buffalo Bills: Deji Karim, RB, Southern Illinois
Chan Gailey hinted at adding a change-of-pace runner in the middle rounds of the 2010 NFL Draft. Deji Karim ran a 4.37 at his Pro Day and averaged 7.1 YPC for Southern Illinois in 2009.

  10. Miami Dolphins: Brandon Banks, KR/PR, Kansas State
Ted Ginn won't be missed as a receiver - I'll never forgive him for dropping that backdoor cover touchdown against the Saints - but his skills in the return game will have to be replaced.

  11. Jacksonville Jaguars: Lonyae Miller, RB, Fresno State
If either Maurice Jones-Drew or Rashad Jennings suffers an injury, the Jaguars will be seriously thin at running back.

  12. Chicago Bears: Brandon Lang, DE, Troy
Depth is needed at defensive end behind Julius Peppers and Mark Anderson.

  13. San Francisco 49ers: Darryl Sharpton, ILB, Miami
Someone to challenge Scott McKillop for the right to be Takeo Spikes' successor.

Pick change; previously Shawn Lauvao, G

  14. Denver Broncos: Lindsey Witten, DE/OLB, Connecticut
The Broncos need another pass-rusher - especially if Robert Ayers doesn't improve this season.

  15. New York Giants: Dennis Pitta, TE, BYU
Tight end is not a big need for the Giants, but Jerry Reese loves taking the top player on his board, and I'd find it hard to believe that Dennis Pitta wouldn't fit that description in the middle of Round 6.

  16. Tennessee Titans: Shawn Lauvao, G, Arizona State
If Kevin Mawae doesn't return in 2010, the Titans will have very little proven depth in the interior of the offensive line.

Pick change; previously Darryl Sharpton, LB

  17. Cleveland Browns: Brandon Sharpe, DE/OLB, Texas Tech
Kamerion Wimbley was traded and Chris Gocong is unproven (but promising) in the 3-4.

  18. Houston Texans: Patrick Stoudamire, CB, Western Illinois
The Texans really need help at corner, and there's a good chance that they may take two of them in the first five or six rounds of the 2010 NFL Draft.

  19. Pittsburgh Steelers: Clifton Geathers, DE/DT, South Carolina
To steal something from my 2011 NFL Mock Draft: Three numbers for you: 33, 37 and 35. Those will be the respective ages of Brett Keisel, Travis Kirschke (currently a free agent) and Aaron Smith at the start of the 2011 NFL season. The Steelers drafted Ziggy Hood last year, but they'll need another young 3-4 end.

  20. Atlanta Falcons: Clay Harbor, TE, Missouri State
Tony Gonzalez just turned 34 and will have a cap charge of $8.25 million in 2011. The Falcons could find his eventual successor here.

  21. New England Patriots: Sergio Render, G, Virginia Tech
Stephen Neal has stated that he doesn't plan to play for more than two years. Given his injury history, it's very likely that he'll miss at least a handful of those 32 games.

  22. Cincinnati Bengals: Roddrick Muckelroy, OLB, Texas
The Bengals have discussed moving Rey Maualuga to middle linebacker, which would create the need for a new player at the strongside position.

Pick change; previously Kavell Conner, OLB

  23. Buffalo Bills: Vince Oghobaase, DE/DT, Duke
More pieces for this new 3-4 defense. Aside from Dwan Edwards, none of Buffalo's defensive linemen have experience in the 3-4.

  24. Green Bay Packers: Derek Hardman, OT, Eastern Kentucky
It wouldn't hurt to double dip at tackle in this draft - just in case Charles Brown doesn't pan out. Protecting Aaron Rodgers is Green Bay's greatest priority.

  25. Baltimore Ravens: Ramon Harewood, OT, Morehouse
If the Ravens move Jared Gaither, they'll really be hurting for depth at offensive tackle.

  26. Arizona Cardinals: Rashawn Jackson, FB, Virginia
The Cardinals need an upgrade at fullback; Nehemiah Broughton is currently penciled in as the starter.

  27. Dallas Cowboys: Alterraun Verner, CB, UCLA
More corner depth for the Cowboys, who now have to battle Donovan McNabb, Eli Manning and the promising Kevin Kolb six times per year.

  28. Houston Texans: Alex Daniels, DE, Cincinnati
You want to have as many quality pass-rushers as possible when you're going up against Peyton Manning.

  29. New York Jets: Antonio Coleman, DE/OLB, Auburn
Someone to push Vernon Gholston in training camp. The Jets need a long-term pass-rushing solution.

  30. Minnesota Vikings: George Johnson, DE, Rutgers
Ray Edwards is entering his contract year, and after his amazing playoff run, he'll be looking for a huge deal. If the Vikings don't pay him, they'll need help at defensive end.

Pick change; previously Jeremy Williams, WR

  31. Philadelphia Eagles: Travis Goethel, ILB, Arizona State
Another linebacker - only because the Eagles can't keep going back to Jeremiah Trotter.

  32. New Orleans Saints: Zac Robinson, QB, Oklahoma State
Mark Brunell should be in a museum, while Chase Daniel is definitely not the answer. The Saints will be searching for a quarterback in the final rounds of the 2010 NFL Draft.

  33. Carolina Panthers: Willie Young, DE, N.C. State
The Panthers will need a contingency plan just in case Everette Brown doesn't work out.

  34. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mike Kafka, QB, Northwestern
If the Jaguars don't get Tim Tebow, they'll probably look for a developmental quarterback in the later rounds.

  35. Carolina Panthers: T.J. Ward, SS, Oregon
Like many NFL teams, the Panthers need to bolster their secondary depth - especially in a division with Drew Brees and Matt Ryan.

  36. New England Patriots: Bill Stull, QB, Pittsburgh
Are the Patriots comfortable with Brian Hoyer as their No. 2 quarterback? I guess we'll find out during the 2010 NFL Draft. Regardless, it wouldn't hurt to add competition.

  37. San Francisco 49ers: Mike Williams, WR, Syracuse
San Francisco's strategy is to draft the best available player, right? That would be Mike Williams - and perhaps Mike Singletary is convinced that he can redeem Williams' football career.

  38. Tennessee Titans: Stevenson Sylvester, OLB, Utah
Someone to push Gerald McRath, who was absolutely torched in that crucial Christmas game against the Chargers.
