The order of this 2017 NFL Mock Draft is random.

NFL Draft Recent Links:

  1. Washington Redskins: Jabrill Peppers, CB/S, Michigan
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Su'a Cravens, S/LB

The Redskins obviously need help in their secondary, an area that has been weak for years. I'm sure they'll appreciate Jabrill Peppers' versatility.

  2. Houston Texans: Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Ezekiel Elliott, RB

Mike Williams had a big year for Clemson in 2014, but played just one game last season because of a neck fracture. He's very talented, however, so if he recovers and performs well in 2016, he'll be a mid-first-round choice, and I'm sure the Texans would be happy to have him, as they already had success with another Clemson receiver.

  3. Detroit Lions: Desmond King, CB, Iowa
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Sheldon Rankins, DT

Darius Slay was terrific this past season, but the Lions could stand to find another starting cornerback, especially with Rashean Mathis being so close to retirement.

  4. San Diego Chargers: Ethan Pocic, C/G, LSU
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Joey Bosa, DE/OLB

It was a bit odd that the Chargers eschewed the offensive line in the 2015 NFL Draft. They certainly paid for it, as Philip Rivers was constantly under pressure. San Diego has multiple upgrades to make up front, including the center position.

  5. Dallas Cowboys: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Myles Jack, LB

Jerry Jones must regret letting go of DeMarco Murray. I'm not sure it wouldn't made much of a difference in 2015, but Jones may believe differently. He could overreact and spend an early-round choice on a running back.

  6. Oakland Raiders: Jalen Reeves-Maybin, LB, Tennessee
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Leonard Floyd, DE/OLB

The Raiders were incredibly poor at linebacker last season. They struggled immensely against tight ends as a result, so this is an area that needs to be fixed.

  7. Arizona Cardinals: Armandi Watts, S, Texas A&M
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Jonathan Bullard, DE/DT

Arizona's safeties were exposed in the NFC Championship. The front office has to find an upgrade for the back end of its defense at some point in the near future.

  8. Cincinnati Bengals: Quin Blanding, S, Virginia
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Jarran Reed, DT

The Bengals have a number of key impending free agents this offseason. Included are the two starting safeties, so it'll be difficult to retain both.

  9. Minnesota Vikings: Pat Elflein, G, Ohio State
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Michael Thomas, WR

The Vikings have to address their issues on the offensive line. The interior isn't very strong, as one of the guard positions needs to be upgraded.

  10. Green Bay Packers: Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Vernon Butler, DT

The Packers have been searching for an upgrade at inside linebacker for quite a while. They'll finally get one here, allowing them to keep Clay Matthews on the edge on a full-time basis.

  11. New England Patriots: Malik McDowell, DE/DT, Michigan State
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): None

Bill Belichick used a recent first-round pick on Dominique Easley, which was seen as a big risk at the time because of the prospect's durability issues. Those surfaced, as Easley hasn't been able to stay healthy. If that trend holds up again, New England will have to look for a new defensive tackle.

  12. Denver Broncos: Jonathan Allen, DE/DT, Alabama
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Darron Lee, LB

Much like the Bengals, the Broncos had a couple of impending free agents at a position in their defense heading into the offseason. They re-signed Derek Wolfe, but Malik Jackson will probably leave.

  13. Indianapolis Colts: Marquis Haynes, DE/OLB, Ole Miss
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Jaylon Smith, ILB

The Colts haven't made many good free-agent signings. Bringing in Trent Cole was a rare, solid move, but he was just a short-term fix at outside linebacker.

  14. Carolina Panthers: Davon Godchaux, DE/DT, LSU
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Mackensie Alexander, CB

Star Lotulelei and Kawann Short are both hitting the market shortly, and Carolina might be able to afford just one. They may pursue a defensive tackle early in the draft next offseason.

  15. Pittsburgh Steelers: Lorenzo Carter, DE/OLB, Georgia
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Taylor Decker, OT

The Steelers have a couple of young edge rushers who haven't proven themselves. If they don't start playing like the first-rounders that they are, Pittsburgh will be in the market for a new outside linebacker soon.

  16. Seattle Seahawks: Raekwon McMillan, LB, Ohio State
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 2/4): Noah Spence, DE

Bruce Irvin is heading into free agency this offseason, and it doesn't sound like he'll be back. A third linebacker joining K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner will be needed.
