-
San Francisco 49ers: Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
I don't understand why the 49ers avoided addressing the receiver position until late in the 2016 NFL Draft. How did they not realize that they have such a huge need in that area?

-
Cleveland Browns: Eddie Jackson, S, Alabama
The Browns lost Tashaun Gipson this year. Outside of a mid-round selection, they didn't really address that hole, so they could do that early in the 2017 NFL Draft.
-
New Orleans Saints: Dan Feeney, G, Indiana
Dan Feeney won't be able to teach his teammates much until he's a veteran, but he could provide an upgrade on the interior of the offensive line, which is a weak point of the Saints' scoring unit right now.
-
Jacksonville Jaguars: Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan
The Jaguars have a potential shutdown cornerback in Jalen Ramsey, but they still need help at the position. An early selection in the 2017 NFL Draft could help remedy this.
Pick change; previously Cameron Tom, C
-
Atlanta Falcons: Julie'n Davenport, OT, Bucknell
Ryan Schraeder has played well for the Falcons at right tackle, but he's an impending free agent. Perhaps Atlanta fans won't be so possessive of Schraeder if they can acquire Julie'n Davenport, a rising prospect.
Pick change; previously Anthony Walker, LB
-
Philadelphia Eagles: Isaiah Ford, WR, Virginia Tech
The Eagles have nothing across from Jordan Matthews, aside from some projects like Dorial Green-Beckham and Paul Turner. If neither steps up this year, Philadelphia will be in the market for a new No. 2 receiver.
Pick change; previously Eddie Vanderdoes, DT
-
Los Angeles Rams: Pat Elflein, C/G, Ohio State
The Rams have been weak at center for what seems like decades. OK, it hasn't been that long, but the position has been a problem for them for a very long time. It's time to finally end that.
Pick change; previously Eddie Vanderdoes, DT
-
Cleveland Browns: DeMarcus Walker, DE/DT, Florida State
Desmond Bryant, 31 in December, will be entering his contract year after the 2016 campaign, all while coming off a torn ACL. The Browns spent a third-round pick on Carl Nassib this past April, but perhaps another early choice could be used on the defensive line.
DeMarcus Walker had an amazing debut against Ole Miss, and he should probably be slotted higher than this. He could be in the first round next week.
-
Miami Dolphins: Davon Godchaux, DT, LSU
The Dolphins could stand to add some help for Ndamukong Suh in the interior, as Earl Mitchell doesn't exactly cause opposing offensive coordinators to lose sleep at night.
-
Indianapolis Colts: Carl Lawson, DE/OLB, Auburn
Pick a position, any position. The Colts need to address it on defense. This includes rush linebacker, as Indianapolis' pass rush will be lacking this season.
Pick change; previously Corey Clement, RB
-
New York Giants: Wayne Gallman, RB, Clemson
The Giants are pretty weak at running back, as the injury-prone Rashad Jennings is the favorite to lead the team in carries this year. That's obviously not great news, so New York could opt to select a solid prospect at the position.
Pick change; previously Carl Lawson, DE/OLB
-
New York Jets: Tim Williams, DE/OLB, Alabama
The Jets just spent a third-round pick on an edge rusher, but I don't think Jordan Jenkins will be enough to cure their need for an exterior pass-rusher.
Pick change; previously Lewis Neal, DE/OLB
-
Dallas Cowboys: Travin Dural, WR, LSU
The Cowboys could use someone as physically talented as Dupre across from Dez Bryant, as Terrance Williams isn't cutting it.
-
Chicago Bears: Chad Kelly, QB, Ole Miss
It was surprising that the Bears avoided drafting a quarterback. Perhaps they just didn't like anyone in the 2016 class. They'll likely choose someone early in the 2017 NFL Draft.
-
Detroit Lions: Marshaun Lattimore, CB, Ohio State
The Lions have a stud cornerback in Darius Slay, but they have a void across from him. Rashean Mathis has retired, and that need wasn't filled this past offseason.
Pick change; previously Connor McDermott, OT
-
San Diego Chargers: Davis Webb, QB, California
Philip Rivers turns 35 in December, so it might be time for the Chargers to find a successor for him.
-
Buffalo Bills: Jalen Reeves-Maybin, LB, Tennessee
Three of Buffalo's linebackers, including Manny Lawson, have expiring contracts after this season, so another second-round pick could be used on the position.
Pick change; previously Skai Moore, LB
-
Baltimore Ravens: Anthony Walker, ILB, Northwestern
The Ravens could be in the market for a new starting inside linebacker to play next to C.J. Mosley. They currently have nothing there in the wake of Daryl Smith's departure.
Pick change; previously Cordrea Tankersley, CB
-
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Marquis Haynes, DE/OLB, Ole Miss
Noah Spence seems like a promising player to help Tampa's defense - as long as he stays clean off the field, of course. However, the Buccaneers could stand to find another pass-rusher, as Spence alone won't solve their inability to generate consistent heat on opposing quarterbacks.
-
Denver Broncos: Jake Butt, TE, Michigan
If Jeff Heuerman can't emerge from the rear of the depth chart to becoming a solid starter, the Broncos could consider someone like Jake Butt in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
-
Washington Redskins: Chris Wormley, DE/DT, Michigan
The Redskins are very strong in the back end of their defense, but they could use a lot of help on the defensive line.
Pick change; previously Lowell Lotulelei, NT
-
Houston Texans: Da'Shawn Hand, DE/DT, Alabama
The Texans were expected to target a replacement for Jared Crick in the 2016 NFL Draft, but never got a chance to.
-
Kansas City Chiefs: Mitch Leidner, QB, Minnesota
A fax machine error caused Alex Smith to mistakenly be ranked No. 81 in the players' poll this offseason. The Chiefs will likely be looking for an eventual replacement/upgrade for the most mediocre quarterback in football.
-
Arizona Cardinals: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
I liked Arizona's pick of Harlan Miller, but I don't think he's enough to properly bolster their cornerback position, which needs help right now.
-
Oakland Raiders: Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama
It was a bit surprising to see the Raiders fail to address the linebacker position, especially after seeing both Myles Jack and Darron Lee fall to them at No. 14. They may regret passing on one of the two.
-
New England Patriots: Sam Hubbard, DE, Ohio State
The Patriots traded Chandler Jones, but never found someone to replace him. Here's a potential solution.
Pick change; previously Carlos Watkins, DT
-
Seattle Seahawks: Daeshon Hall, DE/OLB, Texas A&M
I thought there was a good chance that the Seahawks would upgrade their edge rush this offseason, but they didn't pull the trigger. They can make amends for that at this juncture.
Pick change; previously Tim Williams, DE/OLB
-
Minnesota Vikings: Armani Watts, S, Texas A&M
The Vikings have needed help next to Harrison Smith for quite some time now, so perhaps this is when they'll finally find a solution.
Pick change; previously Jordan Leggett, TE
-
Carolina Panthers: Marcus Williams, S, Utah
The Panthers spent most of the 2016 NFL Draft upgrading their cornerback position. The safety group also needs to be upgraded.
-
Cincinnati Bengals: Charles Walker, DT, Oklahoma
Andrew Billings appears to be a great value pick, but the Bengals could still stand to add some talent to the interior of their defensive line.
-
Pittsburgh Steelers: Isaac Rochell, DE/DT, Notre Dame
The Steelers have a couple of strong starters at defensive end in Cameron Heyward and Stephon Tuitt. However, there's almost no depth behind those two players, so that needs to change.
-
Green Bay Packers: Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma
Eddie Lacy has looked leaner in some pictures he has taken this offseason, and he's looked great in the preseason. But what if he has relationship issues and eats ice cream every night for a week? He'll be back where he started, prompting the Packers to find a new running back.
