Cleveland Browns: Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame
Teams that select a quarterback in the first round often double up on offense with their next pick to help their new franchise signal-caller. The Browns would be doing that here, as Mike McGlinchey would start at right tackle and eventually moving to the blind side once Joe Thomas retires or moves on.

Pick change; previously Jamal Adams, S
-
New York Jets: Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee
The Jets have a great defensive line, but it's been years since they've possessed a potent edge rusher. Fortunately for them, this draft class is loaded with talented players at the position.
Pick change; previously Brad Kaaya, QB
-
Detroit Lions: Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida
Detroit's defensive line is very strong on the edge, but the team has yet to find a worthy replacement for Ndamukong Suh. The Lions' inability to get to Andrew Luck in the season opener was discouraging.
-
Seattle Seahawks: Davon Godchaux, DT, LSU
There was one team that was convinced the Seahawks would select Robert Nkemdiche in the 2016 NFL Draft. They did not, but it made a ton of sense, as Seattle could use a pass-rushing presence in the interior of its defensive line.
-
New York Giants: Ethan Pocic, C/G, LSU
John Jerry is one of the weakest starting guards in the NFL. While the Giants need tackle help, the right guard spot also needs to be addressed.
-
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
Austin Seferian-Jenkins has proven to be a huge bust thus far, while Cameron Brate isn't anything special. Jameis Winston could use a more reliable intermediate option.
Pick change; previously Jabrill Peppers, S
-
Kansas City Chiefs: Desmond King, CB, Iowa
The Chiefs had a great tandem at cornerback last year with Sean Smith and Marcus Peters, but the former has defected for Oakland. Andy Reid has a history of drafting corners in the first round, so he could pull the trigger on one again.
Pick change; previously Tre'Davious White, CB
-
Denver Broncos: Christian McCaffrey, RB/WR, Stanford
C.J. Anderson is off to a great start this year, so this isn't a replacement pick, or anything. The Broncos could use another weapon out of the backfield, and Christian McCaffrey would provide the Broncos with the sort of versatile weapon they currently lack.
Pick change; previously O.J. Howard, TE
-
Houston Texans: Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida
The Texans won't have Brian Cushing around for much longer, so they'll likely be in the market for a new inside linebacker to pair with Benardrick McKinney.
-
Arizona Cardinals: Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
This is a situation where one of the top players on the board happens to fill a need. Wide receiver will have to be addressed next offseason. Larry Fitzgerald is nearing retirement; Michael Floyd will hit free agency in March; and John Brown will be entering his contract year.
-
Carolina Panthers: Dawuane Smoot, DE, Illinois
The Panthers have proven that they'll take the best player available, regardless of position. In my opinion, that would be Dawuane Smoot. Using that philosophy could help the Panthers address a need as well, depending on whether Charles Johnson re-signs this offseason.
Pick change; previously DeMarcus Walker, DT
-
Cincinnati Bengals: Marcus Maye, S, Florida
The Bengals had a number of key free agents this offseason. They re-signed some of them, but failed to keep Reggie Nelson, who was a valuable member of their defense. Here's a much-needed replacement if Shawn Williams doesn't come through. Williams is not off to a good start, but the season is still young.
-
Green Bay Packers: Carroll Phillips, DE/OLB, Illinois
Even with Clay Matthews moving back outside, the Packers need to find a new edge rusher or two, as both Julius Peppers and Nick Perry will be impending free agents this offseason.
Pick change; previously Evan Engram, TE
-
New England Patriots: DeMarcus Walker, DE/DT, Florida State
The Patriots let go of Dominique Easley this offseason, but failed to replace him. They're hurting at defensive tackle right now and are desperate for an upgrade.
Pick change; previously Christian McCaffrey, RB
-
Philadelphia Eagles: Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU
I found it odd that the Eagles signed Leodis McKelvin, given that he was responsible for them beating the Bills when he missed a tackle on Zach Ertz in the final minutes of that game. Now, McKelvin will see extensive action, which is a mistake. The Eagles also traded away Eric Rowe, so they could be looking for cornerback help with Minnesota's selection.
Pick change; previously Cordrea Tankersley, CB
-
Pittsburgh Steelers: Raekwon McMillan, LB, Ohio State
I loved the Tyler Matakevich pick, but if he doesn't flash as a rookie, the Steelers could spend an early-round selection on an eventual replacement for Lawrence Timmons.
