Philadelphia Eagles: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
I found it odd that the Eagles signed Leodis McKelvin, given that he was responsible for them beating the Bills when he missed a tackle on Zach Ertz in the final minutes of that game last year. Now, McKelvin will continue to see extensive action, which is sad, as it says a lot about how bad the other cornerbacks are. The Eagles also traded away Eric Rowe, so they could be looking for corner help with Minnesota's selection.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jamal Adams, S, LSU
Tampa Bay has the worst safeties in the NFL, as evidenced by Derek Carr setting a franchise record in passing yards. If the Buccaneers have an opportunity to grab one of the three top safeties in this class, I have to assume that they won't hesitate to do so.
-
Pittsburgh Steelers: Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt
If the loss to Dallas proved anything, it's that the Steelers can be pretty soft up the middle. Their inside linebackers need to be looked at for sure. Ryan Shazier is fine, but Lawrence Timmons has rapidly declined and can no longer start in this league. The Steelers will consider moving on from him, especially if they can land a mega talent like Zach Cunningham.
-
Denver Broncos: Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama
Given how much they struggled to defend Atlanta's running backs as receiving threats out of the backfield in one of their four losses this year, the Broncos should consider an inside linebacker early in the 2017 NFL Draft to properly replace Danny Trevathan. Fortunately for Denver, there are a couple of talented prospects at the position who are expected to be available in this range.
Pick change; previously Ryan Ramczyk, OT
-
Baltimore Ravens: Tim Williams, DE/OLB, Alabama
The Ravens struggled to get pressure on the quarterback all year. A part of the problem is that Elvis Dumervil and Terrell Suggs will be 33 and 34, respectively, by the 2017 NFL Draft. Some young blood will be needed on the edge.
-
Houston Texans: David Njoku, TE, Miami
Charlie Campbell is going to have this selection posted in his upcoming mock draft update, and I liked it a lot, so I chose to copy it. The Texans could use an intermediate threat, and perhaps they'll fall in love with David Njoku if he declares for the 2017 NFL Draft. Njoku's talent level is unreal, and there's a ton of hype surrounding him right now.
Pick change; previously Carroll Phillips, DE/OLB
-
Washington Redskins: DeMarcus Walker, DE, Florida State
DeMarcus Walker can play on the defensive line or at outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme, and I have to imagine the Redskins would like him at the latter spot. They could be looking for a player like Walker in the wake of Junior Galette's double Achilles tear.
Pick change; previously Desmond King, CB
-
Detroit Lions: Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida
Detroit's defense has some glaring issues. The primary one is the weakness at linebacker. DeAndre Levy can't stay healthy, and there's nothing there at the position otherwise. Fortunately, there are a few first-round linebacker prospects in this class.
-
Miami Dolphins: Desmond King, CB, Iowa
Byron Maxwell has endured an up-and-down campaign in his first season in Miami. Tony Lippett, meanwhile, has been fine at times, but is he really the long-term answer at cornerback? The Dolphins will need an upgrade at the position.
Pick change; previously Reuben Foster, LB
-
Atlanta Falcons: Charles Harris, DE/OLB, Missouri
It was a bit odd to see the Falcons eschew their pass rush in the 2016 NFL Draft, especially when Shaq Lawson dropped to them at No. 17. I'm sure that after seeing their defenders struggle to get to the quarterback - save for Vic Beasley, who has improved lately - they'll be desperate for someone who can apply pressure on opposing signal-callers in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Pick change; previously Derek Barnett, DE
-
Seattle Seahawks: Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida
There was one team that was convinced the Seahawks would select Robert Nkemdiche in the 2016 NFL Draft. They did not, but it made a ton of sense, as Seattle could use a pass-rushing presence in the interior of its defensive line.
-
Kansas City Chiefs: Quenton Nelson, G, Notre Dame
Andy Reid loves bolstering the trenches on both sides of the ball, and I don't think he'd be opposed to selecting a guard late in the first round this April. The interior of Kansas City's offensive line could be better, and Quinton Nelson is one of the better prospects remaining.
-
New York Giants: Dawuane Smoot, DE, Illinois
I have to hand it to Jason Pierre-Paul for playing through his gruesome injury, but he's an impending free agent, and the Giants may just want to move on. I could see New York adding another edge rusher early in the 2017 NFL Draft.
-
New England Patriots: Carroll Phillips, DE/OLB, Illinois
New England trading Logan Mankins away backfired, as Mankins would've helped them win the Super Bowl last year, in all likelihood. Yet, the Patriots keep dealing away talented players. They'll have to replace Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins, as their front seven is pretty weak.
Pick change; previously Charles Harris, DE/OLB
-
Oakland Raiders: Christian McCaffrey, RB/WR, Stanford
Oakland's coaching staff doesn't like Latavius Murray all that much, but they appear to be stuck with him at the moment because their other options at running back are pretty underwhelming.
-
Dallas Cowboys: John Ross, WR, Washington
The Cowboys could do better at receiver across from Dez Bryant, and it would be nice for Dak Prescott to have a potent downfield threat for when Bryant is out of the lineup.
