Yet another Chicago Bears Mock 2019 Offseason Published at 2/12/2019
|
That's right, I'm back with yet another Chicago Bears mock offseason. Let's get right into it:
Cuts:
Start with: ~$7.3 million in cap space
TE Dion Sims
OLB Sam Acho
K Cody Parkey post-June cut
Cap space now: ~$14.5 million
Restructures:
OG Kyle Long
OLB Khalil Mack
(I just plugged in restructure on overthecap.com)
Cap Space now: ~$30.2 million
Resignings: (Massie already resigned) DHC Consider it but
Bryce Callahan: 3 years, $18 million
Joshua Bellamy: 1 year, $1 million
Patrick O'Donnell: 1 year, $1 million deal
Ben Braunecker and Daniel Brown 1 year deals < $1 million
Bryan Witzmann: 2 year, $3 million deal
ERFA Tender Isiaih Irving, Roy-Robertson Harris, Rashaad Coward
Mike Burton: 1 year, <$1 million
Adrian Amos: 2 years, $12 million deal (I Hope we convince him to discount)
Remaining cap space for FA: ~$15.4 million
the rest
Free Agency:
Sign BROCK OSWEILER THE BEARS SLAYER (JK)
Sign a QB to fight for the backup job
Sign WR Ryan Grant, 1 year, $1.2 million deal (tuia sognong is extra so to sace cal space we wont do it)
Sign OG AJ Cann 1 year, $1.2 million deal
Sign OLB Markus Golden 1 year, $3 million deal
Sign DT Muhammad Wilkerson (luxury signing) 2 years, $8 million deal
Sign CB Bashaud Breeland 1 year, $2.5 million deal (this signing also wont happen to save cap space)
Sign S Corey Graham 1 year, $2.5 million deal
Sign K Robbie Gould 2 years $8 million deal
Cap Space left: Lowke less than $1 million so we'll be tight but they are almost all 1-year pacts
Some other free agents we may look into:

(If we dont resign Amos good chance we get one of those safeties)
K/P: Matt Bryant, Stephen Gostkowski, Josh Lambo/Ryan Allen, Bradley Pinion, Jordan Berry
NFL Draft:
1st and 2nd rounds: No pick
3rd round: select Parris Jaylen Ferguson, OLB, Louisiana Tech

5th round: Jalen Jelks, EDGE, Oregon
5th Round: Terry McLaurin, WR oOhio State
