Round 1

I have to switch this from a WR pick like Egbuka because it was reported that the Bengals are planning on using the franchise tag (again) on Tee Higgins. I think this is absolutely the wrong course of action, but hey, I don't run the Bengals. Anyway, maybe a top CB pick makes sense, as Cam Taylor-Britt is not the answer at CB1.

Tyler Lockett seems like a release candidate, and with the team seemingly anointing JSN as its top wideout ahead of DK Metcalf, I could see Metcalf being moved on from soon enough. Enter Burden, who could be a speedy complement to the reliability of JSN.

Lavonte David is a free agent and is long in the tooth anyway, and there is very little behind him as it is.

Reliable pass-catching TE's have been a staple of Sean Payton's offenses, but the Broncos don't have that on the roster.

Pittsburgh's defense is aging, particularly on the DL. I had Pearce here before, but with Charlie reporting that he may have some character concerns, it's hard for me to imagine the Steelers being willing to stomach that, not with what's ongoing with George Pickens.

As I think Harbaugh will prioritize the trenches in the 1st Round (via GM Joe Hortiz), Membou could make sense. Former 1st rounder Zion Johnson hasn't exactly been a Pro Bowler at LG, and Trey Pipkins is not a long-term solution at RG.

The vibes haven't been right on Jaire Alexander in Titletown for quite some time, and reinforcements are needed in a division with the likes of Justin Jefferson and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Harrison Smith is not going to be around for much longer, if at all. Starks would be a great addition for Brian Flores' defense, and this may be too low for him.

The OL has become a major issue, so perhaps Booker would get the call here over a WR pick, which is another need in the wake of Tank Dell's gruesome injury and Stefon Diggs' own injury and free agent status.

Another reliable pass-catcher for the Rams here, who will be moving on from Cooper Kupp. Nacua, Egbuka, and Jordan Whittington would likely make up the Rams' 3-WR sets in 11 personnel.

Both Odafe Oweh and Kyle Van Noy are going into the final year of their deals, and with Van Noy turning 34 in March, Green makes sense for a team that could combine value with a 2026 need.

I'm going to switch this up from Jack Sawyer, who certainly seems to fit the profile of what the Lions look for in DL/Edge/LB'ers. However, I saw this particular player mocked to the Lions in an exercise I saw somewhere on X/Twitter the other day, and in doing some digging, I like this fit even more. The Lions deeply prioritize strong OL play, and not only is RG Kevin Zeitler a free agent again, but LG Graham Glasgow is coming off a poor season, he's 32, and he can easily be moved on from after this season. Zabel stood out during Senior Bowl week and could be a plug-and-play starter.

Washington needs to find a reliable WR2 behind Terry McLaurin, who needs a long-term contract himself. Dyami Brown showed well in the playoffs, but he's a free agent, and Golden could give the offense a jolt.

Buffalo needs more talent to get after opposing QB's, and the Von Miller signing has not worked out. Charlie has reported that Pearce has some character concerns, but his talent is legit, and maybe late in the 1st is the appropriate range for him.

KC's LT situation was so bad down the stretch that they felt their best option was to play Joe Thuney there. Look, Thuney is a hell of a guard. And he held up, somehow, during the AFC playoffs. But the beastly Eagles front 4 pushed him around, and it's hardly Thuney's fault. KC has to do something to fill this void.

Mekhi Becton was a success on a 1-year deal at RG, but he may try to parlay that into a more lucrative deal elsewhere. Even if they could bring him back on a short term deal, Jackson would make sense as his eventual replacement.
