Round 1

Picks 17-32
17. Bengals: Mykel Williams, DE, Georgia

A replacement for Hubbard and Murphy

18. Seahawks: Kelvin Banks, OT/G, Texas

Inside is a need for a team who wants to run first. Advanced pass blocker may not be the right fit.

19. Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

I can see him rising to inside the top ten. Do it all LB in college. TB needs that

20. Broncos: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

A potential weapon for Nix. Some draft experts have him #1 and #3 at TE. Difference of a mid first to mid second in some eyes. Broncos need offensive playmakers.

21. Steelers: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

Certainly fills a need. Burden could be their choice over the more polished Egbuka.

22. Chargers: Azareye’h Thomas, CB, Florida State

IOL, Pass catcher, DL and CB are a few needs. Thomas fits the bill for a versatile DB.

23. Packers: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

They have versatile lineman but Simmons could keep those players at their best position. DL/CB is a option

24. Vikings: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

DL/CB is a need with the last 2 picks but it seems like a reach talent wise. RB seems deep enough to wait.

25. Texans: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

Collins, Metchie and Burden isn't bad until injured reinforcements come back, if they do. OG is a strong need (Jackson OSU).

26. Rams: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon

WR/QB may turn into a big need. A LT dart trumps the talent available here. It feels like we are talking 2nd round talent for the last 10 picks.

27. Ravens: Malachi Starks, S, Georgia

They reversed the pass D mid season and get the benefit of a falling prospect again. He seems redundant with slot and safety secure but is a heady DB who can probably be moved around.

28. Lions: Shemar Stewart, DE, Texas A&M

Did not want to put him in RD 1 but he can learn and mature watching 2 very good Ends while trying to add to the mix. Green is a option but has a checkered past while being undersized

29. Commanders: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

A weapon for Jayden. They may target another position depending where they can maximize their abundant cap spending.

30. Bills: Mike Green, DE, Marshall

He should go higher except for off field issue, small school success and issues against the run. Learning(maybe) from Von Miller won't hurt. DT is a big need but can be addressed later.

31. Chiefs: Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

Certainly a need a long with OT, WR and DL. Medicals would have to check out.

32. Eagles: Jordan Burch, DE/DT, Oregon

A rotational player who may become a starter when other players are set to make bank. They should lose 3 of the players when the new season starts.
