Round 1

Campbell is coming off injury, so this may cause a top 10 talent to fall a bit. But, he's another in a very long line of versatile Alabama LB's that can cover and get to the QB.

Cincinnati is almost guaranteed to go defense with this selection, and Green is the top available pass rusher on the board. This makes even more sense if they cant keep Hendrickson.

Seattle unveils a new look offense, but they have to begin with the offensive line. Booker is a safe pick and day 1 starter for the Hawks.

Johnson is my #1 CB in this class (behind Hunter) and he is a great fit in Tampa's cover 2 scheme. He does his best work reading and reacting. He falls due to concerns over his speed, but his play making ability is top notch. Great pick/value for Tampa here.

Denver needs a RB and rumors abound that they want to move up for Jeanty. If they can't, Hampton is a nice consolation prize for the Broncos.

Pittsburgh tries it again and drafts another QB in round 1 to be the franchise QB. Dart has been the "riser" at QB 3 for the past few weeks and becomes the future for the Steelers.

Chargers get the consensus #2 TE and Michigan man Colston Loveland. His numbers don't show it, but Loveland is a pass catching TE who can develop and refine his blocking abilities with his former HC.

At this time last year, James Pearce was considered a top 3 pick. While he didn't have the season many expected from him in Knoxville, he still has elite get off and the tools to become an elite pass rusher in the NFL.

The Vikings were the surprise of the league in 2024. But Harrison Smith isn't getting any younger, and after bolstering the D-line via free agency, the secondary has to be addressed. Starks is as consistent as it gets on the back end. He's a high floor prospect and has great football character.

Another player who was considered a top 5 pick entering the season, Simmons went down early in the season with an injury. He's a top tier talent who if healthy, would be a steal at pick 25.

The Cooper Kupp era is over and the Rams could use a WR to pair with Puka. Golden is a great compliment and adds speed and YAC potential to an offense that suddenly needs another playmaker.

There is so much to like about Derrick Harmon's game and he's so much fun to watch. There was some time missed with injuries, but he was the leader on a very good Oregon defense who always made his presence felt. Great fit.

We all know about the Lions injuries on defense last year, but the team also lacked depth prior to those injuries. Grant would be a big addition (he's 6'4. 331) and Detroit has had success drafting Wolverine lineman.

Washingtons defense was exposed in its final 2 playoff games despite making it to the NFC championship game. Emmanwori is a versatile d back who showcased his elite athleticism at the combine. This is a great fit and impact pick for the Commanders.

Josh Allen needs help. That much is clear. Egbuka is a professional route runner and is another Ohio St wide out that should make an immediate impact in the NFL. Look for him to be a big slot WR early in his career before possibly kicking outside.

Zabel looked great at the Senior Bowl, and that caused his draft stock to rise. That, and the belief that he can play both G and T, offers versatility that teams love/covet. After just getting dominated in the bowl, Big Red does what he always does... and that's build up front.

The reigning.. defending.. undisputed.. Champs get my #2 rated DT and, yes my personal want for the birds at pick 32. Do I think this is likely? No.. but Nolen has been linked a few times and the fit makes sense. He's the former #1 overall national recruit, started as a true freshman at Ole Miss and would be a perfect DT to pair with Jalen Carter.
