This is Matt McGuire's 2010 NFL Mock Re-Draft of Rounds 2 and 3 for Friday evening's NFL Draft coverage.

  1. Saint Louis Rams: Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
In this scenario, the Rams will acquire a veteran quarterback this offseason, and they will need to supply him with weapons. Brandon Gibson and Donnie Avery are nice players, but Tate is a very good value here to give this team even more playmaking capabilities.

  2. Minnesota Vikings: Nate Allen, FS, South Florida
Allen greatly improves the Vikings pass defense, and I just don't see them taking Jimmy Clausen.

  3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois
Benn is a complete steal here for Tampa as they surround Josh Freeman with a potential No. 1 target.

  4. Kansas City Chiefs: Terrence Cody, NT, Alabama
The Chiefs could really fill a need right now at nose tackle, but you better believe Charlie Weis wants Jimmy Clausen. He's not getting Clausen.

  5. Philadelphia Eagles: Rodger Saffold, OL, Indiana
Typical Andy Reid pick. Saffold is a good value here and can play four positions on the offensive line.

  6. Cleveland Browns: Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
Why do I envision McCoy in those Jose Cuervo commercials? After all, he is a "winner."

  7. Oakland Raiders: Linval Joseph, DL, East Carolina
Could the Raiders make back to back smart picks in the Draft? Nahhhh.

  8. Miami Dolphins: Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas
I mocked Kindle to the Fins in the first round, and with him on the board now it makes even more sense from a need and value standpoint.

  9. Buffalo Bills: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
Clausen has a HUGE chip on his shoulder, but the odds are greatly stacked against him now that he fell to Round 2.

  10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Corey Wootton, DE, Northwestern
Don't be shocked if Tampa were to go back-to-back wide receivers here.

  11. Baltimore Ravens: Taylor Mays, SS, USC
I've heard that Ozzie Newsome likes Mays, and he'd be an intimidator on the Ravens defense.

  12. New England Patriots: Everson Griffen, DE, USC
The Patriots have to come out of this draft with a pass rusher.

  13. Denver Broncos: Carlos Dunlap , DE, Florida
My mock strategy now is just to mock crappy players to the Denver Broncos. This seems like how they run things in the Rockies.

  14. New York Giants: Brandon Ghee, CB, Wake Forest
I like Ghee a lot and think he will surprise in the NFL.

  15. New England Patriots: Toby Gerhart, RB, Stanford
I recently heard that Gerhart was suffering from racism. These people have no idea how to scout running backs. Maybe if Gerhart wasn't stiff as a board and didn't run so up-and-down like he was on stilts then I would like him.

  16. Carolina Panthers: Brian Price, DT, UCLA
The Panthers' No. 1 need is probably defensive tackle and they are lucky to get Brian Price at No. 48.

  17. San Francisco 49ers: Koa Misi, OLB, Utah
Someone is going to feel like they can coach up Misi and it ultimately woudn't shock me if the 49ers targeted him with a need at outside linebacker.

  18. Kansas City Chiefs: Charles Brown, T, USC
Pioli has a chance to get Cassel a blindside protector and he should do it.

  19. Houston Texans: Bruce Campbell, T, Maryland
This is a value pick for Houston. Left tackle isn't a big need, but Campbell has ridiculous upside.

  20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Damian Williams, WR, USC
The Steelers trade away Santonio Holmes, and by drafting Damian Williams here, they can kick him into the slot, or leave Mike Wallace in the slot and split Williams out wide.

  21. New England Patriots: Aaron Hernandez, TE, Florida
The Pats get an extremely impressive receiving tight end at this pick. Hernandez can catch and run, but not much else, and that's why he will fall out of the first round.

  22. Cincinnati Bengals: Ricky Sapp, DE, Clemson
Cincy should come out of this draft with someone who they feel can generate pressure off the edge.

  23. Philadelphia Eagles: Sean Lee, LB, Penn State
Stewart Bradley suffered a nasty injury last year, and the Eagles could be looking to add another backer who can play both outside and inside in the Eagles defense.

  24. Green Bay Packers: Chad Jones, S, Louisiana State
Chad Jones has a significant upside, and the Packers are in need for a safety at this point in the 2010 NFL Draft.

  25. Baltimore Ravens: Rob Gronkowski, TE, Arizona
The Ravens get the No. 2 tight end in the 2010 NFL Draft; not bad for late second round.

  26. Arizona Cardinals: Dominique Franks, CB, Oklahoma
The Cards should really look to upgrade the corner spot opposite Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

  27. Dallas Cowboys: Morgan Burnett, S, Georgia Tech
Safety is obviously a big need in Dallas, and Morgan Burnett is an athletic ballhawk in the secondary.

  28. Seattle Seahawks: Andre Roberts, WR, The Citadel
Seattle needs to get younger at receiver and I think someone will think highly of Andre Roberts. If nobody does, then he'll be a steal.

  29. New York Jets: John Jerry, G, Ole Miss
With Alan Faneca on the trading/cutting block, this addresses a big need.

  30. Minnesota Vikings: Arthur Jones, DT, Syracuse
Arthur Jones has good size and triangle numbers, but his play is highly suspect on tape. He's a developmental prospect on the line, but can also be worked into the rotation especially on third down.

  31. Indianapolis Colts: Jerome Murphy, CB, South Florida
Jerome Murphy is a big, physical player who can match up in ways some corners in the Colts roster can't.

  32. New Orleans Saints: Daryl Washington, OLB, TCU
Washington is an absolute steal here and a playmaker for the Saints defense.
