  1. Cleveland Browns: Marcus Maye, S, Florida
The Browns fixed some of their issues on offense in the first round by selecting a franchise quarterback and a right tackle. Now, they have to take care of their defense, and the worst part of that is their horrible secondary, which surrenders tons of big plays each game. The Browns have some of the worst safeties in the NFL, so they need to make some upgrades.

Pick change; previously Pat Mahomes, QB

  2. San Francisco 49ers: JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, USC
I don't understand why the 49ers avoided addressing the receiver position until late in the 2016 NFL Draft. How did they not realize that they have such a huge need in that area?

  3. Chicago Bears: Julie'n Davenport, OT, Bucknell
The Bears selected a quarterback in Round 1. Now, they'll have to protect him. Chicago's interior offensive line is great, but help is desperately needed at tackle.

  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ethan Pocic, C/G, LSU
The Jaguars are trying Luke Joeckel at guard, but it doesn't appear as though he's cutting it there either. They'll have to spend an early selection on an upgrade.

  5. New York Jets: Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
Here he is. As mentioned in Round 1, teams have really soured on Deshaun Watson. No team we've spoken to has him as a first-round prospect. One high-ranking personnel man in the NFC told me he has Watson as a third-round prospect. It's so much like the Teddy Bridgewater draft, when the media had Bridgewater in the first round, and yet NFL franchises considered him to be a second-day prospect, even before his woeful pro day.

I have to believe the Jets would be thrilled to land Watson here, however. They have nothing at quarterback, and that includes last year's second-round choice, Christian Hackenberg, who is a sunk cost.

  6. Cincinnati Bengals: Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan
Cincinnati's secondary has struggled this season, but part of the reason for that is the declining pass rush. The Bengals have gotten nothing out of Michael Johnson, so they desperately need to find an upgrade at that spot.

  7. Los Angeles Rams: Pat Elflein, C/G, Ohio State
The Rams have been weak at center for what seems like decades. OK, it hasn't been that long, but the position has been a problem for them for a very long time. It's time to finally end that.

  8. Green Bay Packers: Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee
It goes without saying the Packers need to address the running back position this offseason, as they didn't have any sort of backup plan for when Eddie Lacy sustained an injury.

Pick change; previously Jourdan Lewis, CB

  9. New Orleans Saints: Raekwon McMillan, LB, Ohio State
I still can't believe the Saints signed James Laurinaitis. Did they not watch how horrible he was for the Rams? Seriously, what were they thinking?

  10. San Diego Chargers: Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan
Given how injury-prone Keenan Allen has been, I could see the Chargers adding some talent to their receiving corps.

Pick change; previously Justin Evans, S

  11. Carolina Panthers: Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State
Here's the cornerback the Panthers were so desperately searching for. Carolina ended up making a big mistake by cutting Josh Norman, but they can make amends here by selecting one of the top-rated prospects on the board.

  12. Arizona Cardinals: DeMarcus Walker, DE/DT, Florida State
Calais Campbell will be a 31-year-old free agent entering next offseason. It goes without saying that the Cardinals will have to replace him if he leaves.

  13. Cleveland Browns: Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU
Joe Haden got off to a strong start this season, but has been injured lately. The Browns have nothing else at cornerback anyway. That'll obviously need to change, and this draft is loaded with talented players at the position.

  14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
The Buccaneers could stand to give Jameis Winston another weapon, and an upgrade at tight end would help in the wake of Austin Seferian-Jenkins' release.

  15. Buffalo Bills: Justin Evans, S, Texas A&M
It's unfortunate, but it's possible that Aaron Williams' career could be over because of that ridiculous hit he took from Jarvis Landry. If so, the Bills will have to target a safety in free agency or the early stages of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Roderick Johnson, OT

  16. Pittsburgh Steelers: Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon
DeAngelo Williams won't be around much longer, so the Steelers will need a viable backup running back just in case Le'Veon Bell gets suspended again.

Pick change; previously Alvin Kamara, RB

  17. Philadelphia Eagles: Curtis Samuel, CB, Ohio State
The Eagles will need to spend an early-round pick on a receiver, as Jordan Matthews is their only viable downfield option. Nelson Agholor won't stop dropping passes.

  18. Indianapolis Colts: Takkarist McKinley, DE/OLB, UCLA
The Colts desperately need to upgrade their linebacking corps. That includes finding a potent edge rusher, which is something they currently lack right now. Erik Walden sucks; Trent Cole is old; while Robert Mathis is even older.

  19. Minnesota Vikings: Dion Dawkins, OT, Temple
I'm sure that if the Vikings had the cap space, they would've used this pick to trade for Joe Thomas. Alas, they do not, so they can try to remedy their awful tackle situation by picking one at this juncture.

  20. Miami Dolphins: Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss
It's safe to say that the Dolphins haven't exactly gotten what they had expected out of Jordan Cameron, though not all of that is his fault, given his concussion issues. Here's a much-needed upgrade at tight end.

  21. Baltimore Ravens: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
The Ravens could stand to pick up a new running back. Terrance West is just a middling talent, while Kenneth Dixon not being able to supplant West has to be discouraging.

Pick change; previously Alvin Kamara, RB

  22. Atlanta Falcons: Dan Feeney, G, Indiana
The Falcons could stand to upgrade Chris Chester, the one liability that they currently possess on their offensive line. Dan Feeney won't be able to teach his teammates much until he's a veteran, but he could provide an upgrade on the interior of the front.

  23. Houston Texans: Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State
It's unfortunate that Derek Newton's career could be over because of a double patellar tendon tear. The Texans will have to find a new right tackle.

Pick change; previously Adam Bisnowaty, OT

  24. Detroit Lions: Chris Wormley, DE/DT, Michigan
Detroit's defensive line is very strong on the edge (when Ziggy Ansah is in the lineup), but the team has yet to find a worthy replacement for Ndamukong Suh. The Lions' inability to get to opposing quarterbacks needs to be fixed.

  25. Washington Redskins: Jaleel Johnson, DT, Iowa
The Redskins have been routinely gashed by the run this season, as they don't have any sort of talent up front outside of Chris Baker. This is an area they'll have to address this upcoming offseason.

  26. Kansas City Chiefs: Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan
Sean Smith's departure has been felt this year, particularly in the loss to the Buccaneers when Kansas City had no one to cover Mike Evans in Marcus Peters' absence.

Pick change; previously Anthony Walker, ILB

  27. Denver Broncos: Charles Walker, DT, Oklahoma
Charles Walker would be a nice fit in Denver's defense, as the Broncos have to bolster the interior of their front to improve against the rush.

  28. New York Giants: Anthony Walker, ILB, Northwestern
The Giants have some of the weakest linebackers in the NFL, so they should attempt to make amends for this in free agency or the early stages of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Brad Kaaya, QB

  29. Seattle Seahawks: Carl Lawson, DE/OLB, Auburn
I thought there was a good chance that the Seahawks would upgrade their edge rush last offseason, but they didn't pull the trigger. They can make amends for that at this juncture, and there's never anything wrong with adding extra talented pass-rushers.

  30. New England Patriots: Mason Cole, C, Michigan
The Patriots could use some help on the offensive line, namely at tackle and center. Mason Cole can play all three positions on the interior, and Bill Belichick loves blockers with versatility.

  31. Oakland Raiders: Marquis Haynes, DE/OLB, Ole Miss
The Raiders could stand to bolster their pass rush, as it's unclear if Aldon Smith will be able to stay out of trouble going forward.

  32. Dallas Cowboys: Jake Butt, TE, Michigan
Jason Witten doesn't have much time remaining in the NFL, so the Cowboys could stand to use an early selection on a tight end.
