Looking at 5 games this week.  Definite 3.

Will preview all 5 early so if you are following strategy you might be able to get money in at a better line than Saturday morning when I usually decide my picks...

First the 3 I will be looking for lines for:

Indiana at Ohio State as a long time Buckeye/Big10 fan I know my team and conference more than the casual bettor so all 3 plays are Big plays this week.  This is not a knock on my team this is a rave on Indiana.  This is likely a 7-10 point game decided in late second half.  All luck would have to go our way to cover normal 20 point spread.

Take Indiana +12 @ 200

Now to that team up north.  This bet is both a knock on them and a plus to Rutgers.  They aren't a upper division team but neither is their opponent this year.  Why would anyone favor them by over 10 points on the road?

Take Rutgers +3.5 @ 195

The third game is between two upper division squads.  I am on the over on the Wisconsin Northwestern game.  No significant weather two credible offenses and starting Wisconsin defenders out in first half due to targeting tells me this is not your grandmas Big Ten game.  Whisky may or may not blow em away but Northwestern will get their share.

Over 51 @ 205

Two more I will wait on:

Cincy at Central Florida: -5.5 seems too low but I have more thinking to do...13.5 at 200 maybe...

USC at Utah:  -3 seems like maybe wrong team (USC)  is favored.  Will think about Utah but as of now -5.5 Utah @ 200 maybe a little too high...

Final Update and let's see what lines are today for both original 3 and I will take Utah but pass on Cincy:

You'd actually have done better waiting Indiana +12 @ 205 is bet today. For purposes of keeping track I will use the figure from earlier in week.

Also better today in Whisky over Over 51 @ 210 is bet today.  Once again I will use the 205 from earlier.

Much better in 3rd early lock today Rutgers +4.5 @ 195. I will try to look earlier in week going forward to see if this is a trend.  I don't get the extra point that you would today for purposes of this article.

Slightly better in game I didn't decide until this morning Utah -5 @ 200
