Round 1

Picks 17-32
17. Jaguars: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

Best player to fit an obvious need.

18. Bengals: Tallies Fuaga, OT, Oregon State

Fuaga may be a bit of a steal here. The Bengals need to protect Burrow better.

19. Rams: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

The most obvious replacement for Donald. There are several undersized DTs in the class who can nevertheless play football.

20. Steelers: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia

Not much film on Mims, but he doesn't seem to be a developmental guy either and may be ready to start immediatel

20. Steelers: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia

21. Dolphins: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon

Miami needs help here and at DT.

23. Patriots: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

Patriots steal the Bills choice.

24. Cowboys: Graham Barton, G/OT, Duke

Like Seattle, Miami, and SF, Dallas needs a versatile OL.

25. Packers: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

Most of the NFC playoff teams need at least one new corner.

26. Buccaneers: Dallas Turner, OLB, Alabama

This is really late for Turner. Perhaps TB trades up to ensure they get him, or they look at the needs of other teams and figure that Turner, Verse, or Latu will fall to them.

27. Cardinals: Jer'Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois

Hard to tell if Newton or Murphy is better.

28. Bills: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia

I figure the Bills may try to trade down here, with Mitchell gone. This is high for Ladd, but it's a safe pick.

29. Lions: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson

I would have Coleman going here, but they now have a CB need.

30. Ravens: J.C. Latham, OT, Alabama

I think Lathan is overrated and probably destined to become the nth straight Bama OT bust (Neal, Leatherwood, etc.). There is something wrong with how Bama is developing their OTs, and perhaps it's the revolving door coaching staff.

31. 49ers: Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona

Morgan is the best out-of-the-box tackle at 31.

32. Chiefs: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

Big receivers are bad weather receivers, and Pat needs some help here.
